‘Axe Marks the Spot’: MANIAX Throws Open its Doors in Newcastle
If you’re looking for a new hobby, maybe it’s time you give axe-throwing a try. Whether you’re looking to channel your inner Viking, looking to master a new skill, or just on the hunt for something fun to do with mates, MANIAX Axe Throwing has got you sorted. And now, they are bringing all the axe-throwing fun to the heart of Newcastle with a new venue opening on 19 April 2023.
The latest addition to Newcastle’s King Street’s growing scene of hotspots, MANIAX Axe Throwing creates fun, memorable (and safe) experiences no matter what the occasion – the perfect idea for a birthday party, a different type of bucks party or even a team building event. If you’re on the fence and need a little bit more information in terms of what to expect to help settle those nerves, we got you. The venue has three group lanes (two targets) and six Quick Chuck lanes (single targets), as well as a fully-licensed bar, offering Viking-inspired cocktails in genuine drinking horns, craft beers, wine and non-alcoholic options. Plus, if all that axe-throwing makes you hungry they serve up pizzas cooked fresh on-site.
In the spirit of a good ol’ Viking-style celebration, to mark the arrival of the new venue, MANIAX Axe Throwing will be giving 50 lucky entrants a free 1-hour session, receiving an intro to axe throwing along with a coaching session to make sure the winners really get the upper hand.
