Dynamiq GTM90 Transforms Depending on the Weather

Boating is great during the day, when the sun is out and there’s a sea breeze blowing through to keep you cool. You can take a quick dip in the water, then lounge on deck as you draw off and warm up. But when the night comes, it’s time to head back to shore where you can find shelter. Unless you own a yacht typically over 100 feet, you’re not going to be heading to cabins to spend the evening. While boating like this works in warmer climates, like the Mediterranean, other areas of the world with more extreme climates aren’t able to fully enjoy the boating lifestyle. That’s where Dynamiq’s new GTM90 is changing things completely. The 90-foot yacht is meant to allow the boating crowd in extreme climates the best of both types of yachting.

“We looked at the markets with more extreme climates where together with cruising excitement the yacht should be a safe shelter for guests when needed,” says Sergei Dobroserdov, the founder of Dynamiq. “Places like the Arabian Peninsula, Asian destinations and northern Europe. This is where the yacht needs to be open and full of sea breeze during the daytime, but almost closed when evening comes and the temperature rapidly drops. At the moment, the only way to have large open or closed areas is to lengthen your yacht. But by justifying the ‘IQ’ at the end of the Dynamiq brand name, we had the idea of combining these areas. So the aft beach club, dining area, and open-style galley with bar can be transformed within seconds using sliding doors and foldable bulwarks.”

As Dobroserdov says, the GTM literally transforms to meet the requirements of the day. On sunny days the forward salon and bar/galley area overlooking the aft beach club are open, but when things turn chilly, the bulwarks fold up and the sliding doors close to keep guests safe and warm. The lower deck boasts four guest cabins, which includes a master stateroom complete with a bath. And when it’s time for boating, the three Volvo Penta IPS-1350 pods propel the GTM90 to a top speed of over 30 knots. With a starting price of 7.500,000 euros, the GTM90 can be configured to meet your personal specifications. Whether it’s a beautiful day, or a bit inclement, Dynamiq’s GTM90 will keep you content and comfortable.
