It’s a pretty safe bet that if you ask just about anyone to list out their dream sports cars, the Chevrolet Corvette will be on the list. That being said, you can probably understand why so many Corvette owners—and wannabe owners—are so passionate about their cars. Chevrolet is counting on that passion with the new 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition.

“Passion for Corvette runs deep at Chevrolet and this anniversary is extra special because of the excitement and sales success we’ve achieved with the eighth generation of America’s iconic sports car,” states Steve Majoros, the vice president of marketing at Chevrolet. “Even after 70 years, Corvette still makes hearts race and kids dream of the open road.”
The special edition corvettes are available in either White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat or Carbon Flash Metallic, with Satin Gray and Satin Black for accents on each car respectively. The Anniversary Editions also come with a distinct wheel design with commemorative wheel centre caps. Inside the car, the interior is done in two-tone Ceramic leather GT2 or Competition Sport seats. Red plays a prominent role as well, coming up in the stitching, seatbelts, steering wheel, and sueded microfiber seat inserts. You may also see red—at least as a blur when you blow past stuff in your own Corvette—as the Z06 is powered by a flat-plane-crank 5.5-litre V8 capable of 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
The first-anniversary edition was released for special auction to benefit Operation Homefront. This national nonprofit focuses on strengthening military families in the communities that they serve. The auction was held at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. While you may have missed out on that first model, you can still pick up one of these stunning sports cars for you won.
