Tophat and Waterdream have teamed up for a Defender project that pits itself against the land and the water. Tophat Classics owners Carel and Alex spend their days scavenging across Europe for bold and broken down Defenders that they can turn into works of art. Their latest project, the Defender Waterdream Edition, represents their most powerful Defender yet.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Waterdream Edition features a brand new body kit with a khaki green paint job. Even though the body is new, as well as parts of the interior, including the dash, the classic look of a Land Rover Defender has been maintained. Tophat added in special APP racing brakes as well as an air suspension system that can be tweaked with an app on your smartphone. Koni race dampers help round out the performance upgrades. The interior of the Defender was revamped with custom dials, velour upholstery, an Esthec deck, and a Raymarine screen similar to those installed on Waterdream?s boats. And don?t forget about the audio?the system was put together by Rockford Fosgate and pumps out more than 3000 watts.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBut it?s the engine that really takes this Defender to beast mode. The Waterdream Edition has been outfitted with a Corvette Z06 capable of 650 horsepower. Good luck keeping up with this sleek Defender.\r\nCheck it out\r\n\r\n\r\nHave you subscribed to Man of Many?
