Since the first days of the original model, the Ford Bronco has been synonymous with adventure. Hundreds of drivers have explored the vast unknown from behind the wheel of their Bronco, and that tradition will remain true today with the rebirth of the iconic vehicle, and now with the new Ford Bronco Everglades special edition.

This latest version of the adventurous Bronco comes fully equipped to live up to the idea of what Ford calls the “G.O.A.T., Goes Over Any Type of Terrain mentality.”

“Bronco customers like to explore new places… but some want to go even further off the trail than others. Everglades is specially equipped to enable these customers to tackle even more challenging terrains and trails – and with the front bumper-mounted winch, they can help others out of trouble while they are at it,” said Bronco chief engineer Jolanta Coffey.

That terrain includes water obstacles as well, and thanks to the inclusion of a factory-installed snorkel the Bronco maximizes performance in dust, snow, or water, so you won’t have to worry about even the nastiest of environments. In addition to the snorkel, the Everglades model comes with a winch integrated into the front bumper. The heavy-duty ZEON 10-S WARN winch has a 10,000-pound capability and 100 feet of synthetic line. But that’s not all, the Everglades also features a protective safari bar, steel bash plates, and rock rails. The grill comes in a unique carbonized grey accented with the Bronco lettering in gloss black.

This special edition comes on 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires and there’s also a roof rack complete with crossbars on the moulded-in-colour hardtop. Helping you conquer any terrain is the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine with 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque feeding into a SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission with an advanced 4X4 system and a maximum 67.8:1 crawl ratio.

Ford plans to make the Everglades special edition available this summer with pricing starting at $53,000 USD plus applicable destination and delivery charges. If you can overcome that obstacle, any other barriers you come across on the trail will be a simple matter to beat.
