WATCH: Tom Cruise Performs Wild Stunts in ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ Trailer

Piggybacking off the momentum of Top Gun: Maverick, Paramount Pictures just dropped the first trailer for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Providing a little taste of Christopher McQuarrie’s vision, fans were treated to a montage of Tom Cruise in some of the most ridiculous stunts imaginable.

Tom Cruise Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 Trailer

This will be the seventh overall film in the Mission Impossible franchise, with stars Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames all returning for the latest project which was filmed across Rome, Norway, Venice and the UK. Joining the cast are first Mission returnee Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittride and Vanessa Kirby back as the White widow from the previous movie.

New faces to join the adventure include Agent Carter star Hayley Atwell,  Guardians of the Galaxy actress Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales as the film’s baddie, as well as Cary Elwes, Shea Whigham, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Rob Delaney and Greg Tarzan Davis in supporting roles.

The film which boasts a gigantic USD$290 million budget is the first of a two-part saga that is expected to see the end of the Tom Cruise and Ethan Hunt characters. Part 2 production began in March and is expected to run through the rest of 2022, with its release set for 2024.

Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One will release in theatres on July 14, 2023.
