The one-night-only show sees the iconic five-piece act shed the usual stadium arena setting for a more intimate ‘black tie’ performance alongside a full symphonic orchestra. The upcoming Sydney Opera House Parkway Drive show will take place on Monday, 9 June 2025. According to the event organisers, the one-off performance will be held inside the Concert Hall and will start at 7pm. The doors to the iconic venue will open a full 90 minutes before the show kicks off. It marks the continuation of the band’s remarkable 20th-anniversary celebrations, which kicked off with a blockbuster global tour late last year.

The sold-out series of shows took Parkway Drive’s already revered live show to new heights, introducing flowing narratives and a bevy of practical visual effects. According to Parkway Drive vocalist Winston McCall, the upcoming orchestra performance will step things up even further, delivering a performance unlike anything fans have witnessed before.

“For over two decades, we have carried our home in our hearts as we roamed around the world. The Byron Bay metalcore giants first broke into public view in 2004 with the release of the debut EP Don’t Close Your Eyes. Their subsequent debut record, Killing with a Smile, catapulted the five-piece into the global conversation and set in motion a miraculous cross-continent journey.

Three ARIA Awards, six ARIA Gold-certified albums and millions of streams later, Parkway Drive continues to wave the flag for Australian heavy music. The organisers have confirmed that tickets will go on sale on Friday, 7 March at 9am AEDT and will be available through both the venue and promoter’s websites. Sydney Opera House members and those currently subscribed to Destroy All Lines will also have early access to ticket pre-sales.
