If you’re not ready to head back to that time, Nike is looking into the future with the latest colourway of the NOCTA Hot Step while New Balance has collaborated with Palace on one of the best-looking shoes of the year. adidas YNuK Adimatic
The Adimatic instantly recalls Y2K nostalgia as it makes a return from the skate archives. These shoes exude a vibrant energy all their own, drawing inspiration from the cultural pillars of the early 2000s. Also part of the YNuK capsule, adidas has another chunky offering. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of old-school skateboarding aesthetics, these shoes blend nostalgia with contemporary flair. With a classic shell toe and oversized proportions that command attention, the YNuK Supermodified sneakers make a pretty bold statement. The chunky laces may be the centrepiece but the bold 3-Stripes logo also threatens to steal the show. Nike NOCTA Hot Step ‘Light Bone’
Drake’s NOCTA Hot Step now arrives in ‘Light Bone’ as the latest addition to NOCTA’s signature sneaker lineup. This revamped shoe showcases an exotic material that gives a snakeskin vibe. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, this sixth signature model of MJ takes on a bold colourway. The Varsity Red upper showcases premium suede construction, exuding both elegance and strength. Complementing the vibrant red, black accents adorn the midsole, lace unit, and heel pull, adding a touch of contrast to the design. The Air Jordan 6 Toro Bravo effortlessly captures the essence of a legendary Bulls era to excite basketball fans but the colourway itself is iconic enough to satisfy any sneaker fan. Nike is paying tribute to its legacy of trail running and innovation with the ‘Escape’. Unveiled in 1984, against the backdrop of Mount St. Helens, the Nike ‘Escape’ boldly deviated from the norm, setting a new standard for those seeking adventure. Its revolutionary design quickly earned the admiration and desire of trail runners worldwide. Honouring this storied history, the Air Max 1 ‘Escape’ seamlessly blends classic running DNA with US Pacific Northwest-inspired elements. New Balance and British streetwear giants Palace have collaborated with the latter adding its touches to the MADE in UK 991 silhouette. Renowned and revered, the 99X series shoe of the new millennium has become a timeless favourite with its distinctive blend of visible tech features, stylised cutout overlay designs, and sleek rounded silhouette. Palace injects a multi-faceted, multi-environment twist into this design, using vibrant colours and outdoor-ready materials. Tumbled nubuck and pigskin overlays meet a rugged ripstop upper, harmonising effortlessly with co-branded details throughout. A truly adventurous interpretation of a premium legacy is the result.
