The Brightest Stars of OMEGA’s Constellation Gent’s Collection
The latest OMEGA Constellation Gent’s collection features three refined watches that can only be summed up as luxurious and elegant. Where OMEGA’s Seamaster range is equipped with the hardware worthy of a spy like James Bond, the Constellation collection would instead likely suit one his wealthy and powerful rivals: Blofeld, Scaramanga or Goldfinger perhaps?

These new 41mm watches reflect the classic Constellation design traits–such as the iconic claws and the half-moon facets at either end of the case.
Bevelling the edges gifted the collection a slender appearance compared to previous models. Even the crown has been subtly reshaped for a touch of modern style. The hands are also slimmer, and the new indexes draw inspiration from the Manhattan skyline and the triangular facets of Freedom Tower.
New models are available in stainless steel, 18K gold, or a combination of both. Also, two of the bezels are crafted in polished ceramic – replicating the look of the original Constellation Manhattan from 1982.
The model with a stainless steel bezel is enhanced by blackened Roman numerals. For the other models with ceramic bezels, the Roman numerals have been produced in either OMEGA Ceragold or Liquidmetal materials.
The new Constellation Gent’s models are presented on leather straps with an anti-bacterial rubber lining. A decorative metallic link connects each side of the strap to the case, creating a unique look of its own. Those who prefer an overall metallic look can match their new model with any bracelet in the Constellation 39mm collection, or its full leather strap.
Finally, the caseback features sapphire crystal that offers a view of the OMEGA Master Co-Axial Calibre 8900 / 8901 movement that’s certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology at the industry’s highest standards of precision, performance and magnetic resistance. The new Constellation Gent’s watches are also water-resistant to a depth of 50 metres.
OMEGA has set a September 2020 release for its latest Constellation watches which will hold a price tag between $9,900 and $31,200 AUD each depending on the model.
