Audemars Piguet Unveils New Grail Royal Oaks
Audemars Piguet went about unveiling a handful of new watches, with two catching my eye and standing head and shoulders above the rest of the drops. The first is the Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Openworked in sand-gold, a new material for the maison; a clear highlight not only of 2024, but also of recent years for Audemars Piguet.
The second is the new Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar, made in collaboration with long-time friend and collector of the brand, John Mayer. This particular model features a white gold case and a PVD blue “crystal sky” dial with a stamped texture inspired by the vintage Tuscan dials.

Seiko Unveils New Prospex And Presage Models
To celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary, Seiko has released some brand new Prospex and Presage references. All in all we have three new Prospex models that boast a 300m water resistance rating with a 3-day power reserve. Each Prospex model features a date window between the 4 and 5 o’clock hour markers, and each piece looks far more expensive than its sub-$2,500 price tag entails.
The Presage family welcomed 5 new members. Three feature the classical, closed-dial design with a mix of colours and textures, while two have an opening on the dial at 9 o’clock, partly showing the beating heart of the movement.
