Panerai Radiomir Perpetual Calendar GMT Goldtech
- Brand: Panerai
- Model: Radiomir Perpetual Calendar GMT Goldtech
- Reference Number: PAM01453
- Diameter: 45mm
- Material: Goldtech
- Water Resistance: 100m
- Calibre: P.4100
- Power Reserve: 72 hours
- Price: AUD$73,800 (USD$46,200)
Panerai introduced the new Radiomir Perpetual Calendar GMT Goldtech earlier this week, incorporating the maison’s QP complication into what many consider its most elegant and classical collection. What we have is a super legible and easy-to-use perpetual calendar that marries the worlds of complexity with everything quintessentially Panerai.
From the white dial to the Goldtech case, the Panerai Radiomir Perpetual Calendar GMT Goldtech screams attention, albeit with a sense of modesty. The wire lugs, the exposed crown, the sweeping curves of the cushion case—it all just seems to work. Admittedly, the 45mm case measurements are hefty, but it’s still a slimmed-down take on the classic design, with the ref. 2533 coming in at a whopping 47mm.
Inside, Panerai has adorned this new piece with the calibre P.4100, a beautiful movement that features a leap year and power reserve indicator, to go along with the micro-rotor construction. Considering that the quality of this calibre is priced as well as the PAM01453, I can’t think of anything in this pricing category that can compare.

- Reference Number: 2542G247NU
- Diameter: 42mm x 12.70mm

- Power Reserve: 65 hours

Tudor dropped a bombshell earlier this week, unveiling the much anticipated and equally as well received Pelagos FXD GMT “Zulu Time”. Created in collaboration with the Aéronautique Navale, the air branch of the French navy, the Pelagos FXD GMT “Zulu Time” has all of the military-esque traits that so many mil-spec watch fans love.
Coming in at 42mm, the grade 2 titanium case is a sturdy and sufficient addition to the much-loved timepiece, boasting a firmly utilitarian aesthetic. This is heightened by the integration of the fixed strap-bar design, a common language shared across many Tudor pieces, which provides a rugged and robust construction. Throw in the matte black dial and beige applied indices, and you’ve got a solid piece of kit that feels primed for whatever adventure you have in store.
I really like the use of titanium on the bezel, as it gives a solid contrast when paired against the ceramic bi-directional GMT insert. In essence, the watch has everything you could ever want in a mil-spec-inspired watch. The added bonus is a METAS- and COSC-certified manufacture calibre. Bonkers.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Senna
- Brand: TAG Heuer

- Reference Number: CBU5081.FT6274

- Calibre: TH20-09
- Power Reserve: 65 hours
- Availability: Limited to 500 pieces worldwide
- Price: AUD$56,350 (CHF37,000)
To celebrate the legendary Formula 1 icon Ayrton Senna, TAG Heuer has released the limited edition Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Senna. The foundation this limited piece is built upon is a tried and true one—a chronograph and a tourbillon with industrial finishing that doesn’t break the bank, relatively speaking.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Senna sports Senna’s colourway and insignia, which seems to mesh perfectly with the piece’s modern aesthetic. I really like the contrast of the openworked dial, the pops of colour and the industrial look of the 44mm movement case.
Interestingly enough, the timepiece also sports a carbon bezel inscribed with “Senna” and a tachymeter scale reaching up to 400 km/h—a reference to the “speed and precision” that defined Senna’s career. On the flange, F1 fans will find another Easter Egg, with the element emblazoned with a 60-second scale outlined by the same green observed on Senna’s most famous livery.
Inside, TAG Heuer has fitted the new chronograph with the Calibre TH20-09 tourbillon movement. A calibre that produced 65 hours of power reserve, the TH20-09 is among TAG Heuer’s most technologically advanced creations and a fitting tribute to the track master. Not a bad bit of kit at all.
Piaget Andy Warhol Clou de Paris

- Diameter: 45mm
- Material: White gold
- Water Resistance: 30m
- Calibre: 501P1
- Power Reserve: 40 hours

Piaget went all out with the new Andy Warhol Clou de Paris. Based on the oversized watch worn by Andy Warhol in the 1970s and originally known as the Black Tie Vintage Inspiration, the Andy Warhol Clou de Paris brings a bygone era back to the forefront of modern Piaget.
The white gold cushion-shaped case features a clous de Paris guilloche pattern on the outermost part of the bezel, while the dial is made of an iron meteorite that has been plated to give it that distinct blue look. This is a beautiful piece that speaks odes to Piaget’s ability to create unique pieces.
