Welcome back, team. The New Year holidays have officially come to an end and we couldn’t be more excited to crack into 2025. While we certainly enjoyed indulging in a few too many beverages, soaking up the sun and making the most of the (sometimes) beautiful Australian weather, our thoughts never strayed far from the task at hand. One week into the year and we’re making good on those mental promises, dishing up the first Man of Many Staff Favourites of 2025.

Keoni – Be Where Your Feet Are

Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief

One week into the new year and I’m already looking for travel inspiration. I’m not sure what that says about my state of being, but it’s videos like this one that make me excited to hit the trail and do more. Keoni is a California-based filmmaker who produced slow travel and mindful stories that focus on the purity of staying present. This week I stumbled across a clip of his, entitled ‘Be Where Your Feet Are’, that really resonated with me. As someone who struggles to slow down and take in the world around me, the two-minute mantra was a subtle reminder that there is beauty all around us—you just need to look for it.

Night Tales AM.RADIO Set

Scott Purcell – Co-Founder

I’ve been listening to a lot of DJ sets on YouTube recently and those from AM.RADIO Cafe are in regular rotation. Filmed at Boulevard Coffee in Venice, California, the performances have a certain laid-back, relaxing vibe that is perfect to chuck on in the background. Unbeknownst to me, the talent of the latest episode, Night Tales, is set to hit Australia in the coming weeks, performing at the iconic W Sydney Hotel for a one-night-only event.

If you’re unfamiliar with them, Night Tales is a UK-based Aussie duo that debuted at Coachella in 2024 and even collaborated with BLOND:ISH on their recent single. Check out the video above, and if you’re keen to see them in person, tickets are $45 and are on sale for Friday, February 7th, at W Sydney’s iconic Living Room, as shown in the link below.

SODO Core Shorts

Frank Arthur – Co-Founder

I didn’t think I’d ever say this, but these are the first shorts with built-in underwear that I actually like. Usually, I prefer choosing my own for the support and comfort I want, but the bike short-style liner in the SODO Core Shorts is next-level. It’s incredibly supple and supportive, and combined with the super-soft, stretchy outer material, these have quickly become my go-to for workouts and (or just lazing around the house).

What really seals the deal is the sleek, minimalist aesthetic. They look as good as they feel. There’s no over-the-top branding or unnecessary details, just a refined, thoughtful design. With features like no-bounce pockets, breathable mesh panels, and a laser-cut finish, these shorts deliver peak performance while keeping it clean and stylish.

LEGO Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Pull-Back

John Guanzon – Head of Social

Is there a better feeling than clearing the dining table, canceling your afternoon plans, and cracking open a new LEGO set? I don’t think so. If you ask me, the fun of LEGO only gets better with time. Over the holidays, my son Teddy and I have been building the LEGO Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Pull-Back, and honestly, it was just as much fun for me as it was for him. It’s designed for kids aged 7 and up, but to be real, it’s a fun little challenge for grown-ups too. It’s got all the cool details you’d expect from Mercedes’ F1 car, plus a pull-back feature that’ll have us racing it across the living room non-stop (once we’re done, of course).

The best part? Building it together. It’s the kind of activity that keeps both of us entertained and gives him (and me!) a break from screens. It’s been a great bonding activity too, getting to work on something creative while chatting and problem-solving at the same time. We’re making progress bit by bit, and honestly, I’m as hooked as Teddy is. There’s even a more advanced version for adults (sold separately), so if you’re into motorsport or just need an excuse to relive your LEGO days, you can build alongside your kids.

Epiphone ‘Inspired By Gibson’ 1963 SG Custom Maestro

Rob Edwards – Branded Content Editor

Despite being a guitarist of extremely limited ability (and one who already has around 10 guitars waiting for me at home), I recently found myself tempting fate by stepping through the door of my local instrument store. There, hanging from the wall, was a guitar that I haven’t been able to get out of my head since: the Epiphone ‘Inspired By Gibson’ 1963 SG Custom Maestro in Classic White.

Far from an ordinary Epiphone, this is a guitar that looks, feels, and—for the most part—sounds like the far more rare and expensive original Gibson model on which it’s based. From the three Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups to that ebony fretboard and the use of the Gibson-style “open book” headstock, it’s such a beautiful and premium-feeling instrument that I only slightly baulked at the AUD$2,979 price tag.

While I managed to resist temptation on that particular day, I have a feeling the struggle isn’t over, and I may well succumb sooner rather than later. Would that be such a bad thing?

Lacoste Original Eau de Parfum

Marcus Hurley – Sales and Partnerships Manager

Before joining Man of Many over a year ago, I hadn’t worn cologne in years—my collection was a grand total of nothing. Now, thanks to being immersed in the endless and deep culture of fragrances, I’ve compiled a collection of over 10 colognes. One for every occasion.

Lacoste Original Eau de Parfum has quickly become a staple after I discovered it at the 2025 United Cup, where Lacoste had a standout presence. With its fresh mix of citrus, lavender, and patchouli, it’s the perfect balance of classic and versatile – ideal for anything from a big event to a casual weekend. Safe to say, with the help of Lacoste, growing my fragrance collection just makes scents….

Nomatic: Navigator RS 15L Black Backpack

Beatrix Boon – Social Video Producer

This is my new go-to travel bag for work. It fits the perfect amount for a 1-2 night stay somewhere, is small enough for a carry-on on a flight, and holds my laptop nice and firmly so I can trust it no matter how long I’m lugging it around. The expandable design adds extra space when needed too. The Nomatic Navigator RS 15L is a versatile, rugged bag and its sleek black design is quite stylish. Check it out for a reliable on-the-go backpack!

W Sydney – Solar Sundays

Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships

For the very first time, W Sydney is welcoming outside guests to enjoy ‘Solar Sundays’ on its beautiful Wet Deck, and I was there to enjoy it. The vibey infinity pool rooftop destination overlooks Darling Harbour and offers an ideal setting to unwind accompanied by comfortable cabanas, deck chairs, and a live DJ playing sunset-inspired house music. For me, it was the perfect way to spend the last day of the holidays with my wife and a great excuse to get a babysitter and have a few hours to ourselves.

The hotel, wet deck and service were all fantastic. Our cabana felt premium, and the burgers and cocktails were delicious. That said, the current beer and wine menu has room for improvement – for example, there is only one full-strength beer option, which is an IPA (I loved it personally, but for many, IPAs are not high on the preference list). My wife and I are on a lifelong journey to find the best spicy margarita, and W Sydney’s version did not disappoint. Great to see it was an option, and they could also produce a non-alcoholic version for my pregnant wife.

The music was a huge highlight and really set a great vibe for the entire day. It was a great day basking in the sun and slipping in and out of the pool, with some nice service touches along the way, such as complimentary aloe vera ice cubes and mint drinks.
