Kaiza Izakaya Japanese Fusion

Frank Arthur – Co-Founder

Last week I had the pleasure of dining at one of Sydney’s hottest new restaurants. Kaiza Izakaya, and boy was I impressed. Serving up its unique brand of Japanese fusion, the cuisine at Kaiza Izakaya takes traditional dishes and injects their new flavours, including those inspired by chef Jason Nguyen’s childhood memories of his father’s Vietnamese home cooking.

At Kaiza Izakaya the vibe is casual, with an emphasis on creating a relaxed, social dining experience, with a menu designed to share. With dishes like Coffin Bay oysters with Spicy noun Cham and ponzu granita; Crispy eggplant with black miso, rice puff chive and furikake, there isn’t a shortage of flavour in any of the dishes. My personal favourite was the Wagyu Nigiri with crispy rice, kizami wasabi and cured egg yolk.

TickTick – To-Do List Site

Scott Purcell – Co-Founder

Productivity. We all get obsessed with it at one point in our lives. Whether it’s writing a meticulous to-do list in your notebook to avoid actually doing any work, or reading about productivity to feel productive without actually doing anything about it. I think I’ve tried around 50 different to-do list apps and sites over the years. Tested them all. But the one that I’ve stuck with and one I’ve found the most use out of over the years is by far TickTick. It’s got all the features you could ever want in a to-do list app, from curating multiple lists, setting deadlines, creating checklists and cross-device syncing. I pretty much run our whole business from it and love it.

Add it to your to-do list to download.

Bentley Bentayga V8

Denise Barnes – Native Content Manager

This week I had the pleasure of taking the new Bentley Bentayga V8 out for a spin. Although not the longest drive, it was enough to understand why this is the world’s most luxurious SUV. As the car that defined the luxury SUV sector, the brand is always innovating and raising the bar, not only in luxury but also in usability and power. The new Bentayga is aptly described as combining the abilities of a performance grand tourer, a luxury limousine, a spacious family car, and an off-roader making this a car that truly has it all.

Thanks to the eight-speed automatic gearbox and being powered by a 4.0 litre, 32-valve dual twin-scroll turbocharged V8 Petrol engine, the Bentayga offers supercar performance and can reach a top speed of 290km/h and 0-100 in 4.5 seconds, all without compromising on comfort and luxury.

With a trove of new and updated features, the Bentayga is a sight for sore eyes and an absolute dream to drive. Keep your eyes peeled on our website for an in-depth article about the new Bentayga coming soon.

Oats Overnight

Oats Overnight

Tim Fernandes – Sales & Partnership Manager

I was keen to try Oats Overnight because of 2 reasons; The high protein content and the delicious-sounding flavours. Preparation couldn’t be simpler, pour 1 cup of milk and your chosen oats sachet into a shaker and refrigerate overnight.

With 20+ grams of whey or pea protein I’ve found it a great option after my morning workout, as most breakfasts (cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt etc) are relatively low in protein and I definitely can’t be bothered cooking eggs every single day. Oats Overnight is made with certified gluten-free oats, contain superfoods like chia seeds, flaxseeds or maca root and has a decent soluble/insoluble fibre content which helps stabilise blood sugar levels.

The flavours are delicious and although they all sound like a dessert, aren’t sickly sweet which is important for the first meal of the day. Examples include Green Apple Cinnamon, Maple Pancake, Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter Cacao Crunch, Strawberries & Cream or my favourite Peach Upside Down Cake. Buy from their website and you get a free shaker bottle with your first order.

Garrett Leight KINNEY X SUN

Ben McKimm – Staff Writer

I first laid my hands on these at a showing I attended last week for the new Uber Eats Wants to Deliver Beers Directly to Your Concert or Footy Seat sunglasses range. I’m by no means a sunglasses know all but I have a strong appreciation for the small things in fashion that make up the bigger picture of style. And these have a whole lot of style!

I’ve been itching for a new pair of sunglasses for the last few months. Having my eyes set on something a little different, I’ve loved the look of the tinted lenses. at a mixture One of our signature frames is back with a new look. Milled from 12mm of solid acetate with a mini sun shield, Kinney X plays with color, light, and space, echoing the sculpture-as-painting works of Craig Kauffman. Adidas New Sport Eyewear

Adidas New Sport Eyewear

Geena Valos – Account Manager

I thought that after running with numerous sports glasses for many years, I would only find comfortability with a particular few pair for one certain brand (whom I won’t name). However, when I was asked to try the new Adidas SP0018 Sports Sunglasses, I felt like I had finally found another pair of eyewear that matched sunglasses I had settled on for so many years.

Using lightweight performance and comfort technology, Adidas has been able to produce a pair of sunglasses that sit on your face with utmost comfort and void of a single centimetre of movement with each stride you take, and trust me… this is hard to find with sports eyewear. What I also noticed with these sunglasses, is that your workouts are immediately made more enjoyable by Adidas’ unique Visual Enhancement lenses which really brings out the surrounding light and colour with every object in front of you (great for a beautiful sunrise or sunset).

I think that besides the fact of how amazing these sunglasses are to wear on a run, one of the biggest factors for me is the look… they look so good on! I certainly think that out of all the sports eyewear I’ve ever worn, the slim and edgy framing that has been designed by the Adidas team is simply perfect and probably the slickest that I’ve come across- If there’s one way to look stylish whilst you sweat, it’s with a pair of these sunnies on your face.

All in all, these are a BIG yes from me- well done Adidas!
