Take this as an invitation to sit back and relax. This weekend, we encourage you all to just slow down and enjoy the quiet calm before the working week storm. We’ve already ticked off January and February is flying by in a flash, so let’s try to enjoy 2025 before it’s too late. With that in mind, we’ve once again been scouring the globe for the coolest products we could find, and this week, we’ve unearthed some doozies. Here’s Man of Many’s Staff Favourites for the past seven days.

Red Bull Berry Edition Sugarfree
Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief
This week I have been battling some fatigue issues. I’m unsure if it is a result of a change in fitness routine, a lack of sleep or just the general weariness that comes with being in your 30s, but I can hardly find the energy to stay awake at the moment. Even my regular diet of 10-12 coffees per day doesn’t suffice, so I’ve started turning to my old friend Red Bull.
The new Berry Edition is my pick of the roster, thanks to its super-sweet and fruity taste sans the sucrose. I could not tell you what berry Red Bull is aiming for with this concoction and the can’s miscellaneous ‘Forest Fruits’ label makes me feel like they aren’t sure either, but I can attest to its deliciousness. Also, I haven’t fallen asleep at my desk once this week! Thanks Red Bull!

Oakley EVZero Blades Running Sunglasses
Scott Purcell – Co-Founder
2025 is the year of self-improvement for me, but it hasn’t exactly started off too well. I came down with the flu that has kept me out of the gym, and my daily meditation practice has taken a bit of a back seat in place of morning sleep-ins. That said, if there’s one thing to get me off the couch, it’s near gear!
So when Oakley reached out to try out some of its new Prizm lenses for running, I thought I’d throw my hat in the ring. Having tried out a huge number of Oakley frames, including the popular Sutro sunnies, as a bald bloke, I find that they often look absolutely massive on my head. While I know that’s the style nowadays, I was looking for something that was sporty and cool, but didn’t look like I was trying too hard. Enter the EVZero Blades.
A little less bulky than the Sutros, they don’t have any frame or rims around the lens, so you get a full immersion when you put these bad boys on. They are lightweight as a result and have the best-in-class Prizm lenses designed to enhance colour, contrast and detail when you’re in the hot sun. They sit fairly snug in something that sounds out of Avatar, and the nose grip contains Unobtainium to keep your sunnies in place. At AUD$264, they’re a little cheaper than some of the options available at Oakley and come with a strong recommendation from me.
Note: I was gifted a pair of the EVZero Blades from Oakley for the purpose of review.

Chimi Pin Sunglasses
Frank Arthur – Co-Founder
I seem to be unintentionally building a collection of Scandinavian fashion. Some of my favourite pieces in the regular rotation come from Norse Projects, Our Legacy, Han Kjøbenhavn, Samdqvist and No Nationality. My eyewear has followed the same trend with Chimi, a Swedish brand that’s completely won me over.
The Chimi Pin sunglasses are my second pair from the brand. I love the slim, rectangular silhouette and the sharply bevelled brow, which give them a refined look. In contrast to my pair of the Chimi 05, which have a bulkier design, these feel lightweight, and the black-on-black colourway is quite versatile, making them a perfect addition to my lineup.
What really stands out is Chimi’s build quality. From the sturdy hinges to the high-grade acetate, they feel every bit a premium product. The Acetate Renew construction, made from bio-based and recycled materials, adds an eco-conscious touch, while the dark-tinted lenses provide solid UV protection. Chimi’s sunnies also come with a hard case, a soft case, and a cleaning cloth, which is just another thoughtful touch that makes me love the brand even more.

Percy
Elliott Barsby – Commercial Director
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought I’d reflect on a romantic evening my wife and I recently enjoyed at Percy, a Basque-inspired Spanish restaurant and wine bar nestled within the revamped Hotel Woolstore 1888 in Pyrmont. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant bars of San Sebastián and Barcelona, Percy offers an intimate setting with a menu full of pintxos, tapas, and Spanish favourites designed to be shared.
It was a warm Sydney evening when we visited, so I kicked things off with a refreshing Estrella, while my wife enjoyed a Margarita Picante made with Tromba Blanca tequila – one of the best margaritas she’s had in a very long time!
The staff were warm and knowledgeable as they guided us through the unpretentious menu. I’m glad I listened to their recommendations. Not usually one to opt for bread, we couldn’t resist trying the nduja butter on sourdough. Smoky and sweet with a touch of heat, it proved the perfect companion to the array of tapas. Highlights included the croquetas del día, a cheesy delight paired with quince, the melt-in-your-mouth raw tuna ajo blanco, and don’t miss the creamy cauliflower gratinata.
For mains, we shared the 200g flank steak with red wine jus and mojo verde, accompanied by a leaf salad and shoestring fries. The creme catalana dessert is a must-try, a caramelised white chocolate custard beautifully finished with a golden crispy top courtesy of a skilful blowtorch.
The venue itself was relaxed and inviting, featuring authentic Spanish tiles and marble benchtops. The long white candles added a romantic touch, making it a perfect pick for those seeking a Valentine’s Day experience with genuine Spanish flair.

Depot Brewery Artarmon
Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships
It felt like Christmas when I found out a brewery was opening a five-minute walk from my front door. Located on the bottom floor of Home HQ Artarmon, Depot Brewery boasts cutting-edge beer craftsmanship, a vibrant bar, a spacious beer garden, and a kid’s play area (tiny, but anything as a parent is amazing). It has an awesome drinks menu including the crucial ‘Tasting Paddle’. I highly recommend you stop by for a beer and call me on the way.
