Grammy-winning hip-hop and pop artist, Drake, officially touched down in the harbour city on-board his giant Boeing 757-32A private jet last week ahead of his 5-night ‘Anita Max Win’ Australian Tour stop in Sydney (Sunday 16th, Monday 17th, Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th February, and Friday 7th March 2025). With a buffet of Champagne Papi sightings flooding social media, speculation over where the A-lister is staying has hit a fever pitch, and fans think they may have figured it out.

In a new post uploaded to X, footage shows the Canadian rapper enjoying some downtime before an invading drone shatters his privacy. Seemingly shocked by the camera’s appearance, Drake removes a slide and takes aim at the intruder, missing entirely. While no confirmation has been made over the location of the filming, fans have speculated that it is the same $38,000-per-night Crown Presidential Villa that music superstar Taylor Swift and partner Travis Kelce stayed in last year.

Located on the 88th floor of the luxury hotel, the 800sqm penthouse features unmatched views over the Sydney harbour with floor-to-ceiling windows, a kitchen, bar, pool table, media room, and multiple king-size beds spread across two floors. We were lucky enough to take a look inside the room last year, and it’s a fitting place for an artist of his stature. Even if it’s missing his $400,000 bed.

His tour hasn’t given Australians “Swifty” feaver. However, that hasn’t stopped the Six God from putting himself and his entourage up in one of the country’s greatest hotel rooms.

There’s an absurd amount of inclusions inside this penthouse, including but not limited to:

  • Layout:
    • Two separate floors
    • Private outdoor terrace and sun deck
    • Heated infinity pool
    • Three separate powder rooms
    • Bathed in natural sunlight from floor-to-ceiling windows

    • Lavish ten-seat dining table with wingback chairs
    • Extra large bar
    • Three oversized ensuite marble bathrooms with double vanity sinks
    • Media room
    • Kitchen
    • Separate kitchenette
    • Deep soaking baths with an in-built television
    • Study
    • Separate office
    • Fitness Room
    • Massage suite
  • Features:

Drake didn’t ship his Virgil Maybach to Sydney, but if it is the Crown Presidential Villa that he’s staying in, he need not worry. There’s a valet parking space for one car, and when you get hungry there’s a bottle of Champagne on arrival and breakfast for six at Epicurean (or $300 In-Room Dining Breakfast credit). Not bad at all!

Late last week, Drake spent Valentine’s Day at Sydney’s best-known cocktail bar The Caterpillar Club where he unveiled his new album “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U,” in collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR.

The clandestine 100-person event was invite-only, hosted by Drake’s team and women were hand-selected from Instagram to receive invitations. Sadly, many were left at the door, and the queue outside was merely a selection process for the rapper’s team. They surveyed the line, chose the women they wanted inside, and then granted access to them and their friends after strict ID checks were made at the door.

First-hand accounts from the night suggest Don Julio shots were flowing from the open bar, guests were given a rose on arrival, and attendees left with exclusive merchandise, including a shirt saying “Somebody in Australia loves me” on the front and “$$$4U” on the back. Finally, an invitation was shared to the afterparty at Crown Sydney where Drake is posted up.

You can check out more information about the Crown Presidential Villa at the official website below, and we’ve included some more photos from our visit to the suite at the end of this article.
