Often regarded as the be-all-end-all luxury luggage brand, RIMOWA has quietly extended the warranty on their suitcases from 5 years to a lifetime. The new lifetime warranty is applicable for all suitcases purchased from the 25th of July, 2022 and will invite a wider customer base to the brand whose price range starts at $1170 AUD for a basic carry-on bag and extends north of $2320 AUD for an aluminium check-in option. Sadly, our favourite Porsche x RIMOWA collaboration won’t be covered.

That is why, from July 25th, we will be taking the bold step of implementing a lifetime warranty on all our suitcases that are purchased from that date onwards. After years of constant efforts to elevate the quality of our products, we believe this expresses our confidence in their unmatched durability, the excellence of our repair services, as well as our commitment to the planet in that a suitcase should last a lifetime.”
According to RIMOWA, the Lifetime Warranty “covers all functional aspects of the RIMOWA suitcase for the life of your suitcase.
Not applicable to the following;
- Cosmetic wear and tear.
- Misuse or abuse.
- Damages caused by negligence or accident by any third party, particularly flight or transport damages.
