Located at 1550 Amalfi Drive in the Upper Riviera area, the gated and hedged Leonard Estate spans an enormous 16,773 square feet. Designed by renowned architect Richard Landry a.k.a the King of the Megamansions, the coastal villa hosts a three-story main house and guest house, and together they account for eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms.
Described as a “private Florentine villa”, the main residence is equipped with custom features like ornate tile flooring, exposed wood beam ceilings, and numerous windows offering ocean and mountain views. Highlights include a two-story family room, a screening room and a solarium.
Other standout amenities include an office, gym, and den. The property also has a pool, a full guest house, a lit tennis court with a viewing area and a separate putting green to practice your short game.
Pacific Palisades is an elite area in Los Angeles that has long attracted showbiz types drawn to its temperate coastal climate, stunning views and convenient access to Beverley Hills. Past and current residences include Steven Spielberg, Sylvester Stallone and Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman (their former home was just behind Leonard’s estate).
The Leonard Estate is currently the most expensive home for sale in the affluent residential neighbourhood. Only in April, media mogul Shane Smith sold his compound for USD$48.67 to set a new record in the Westside community.
Aaron Kirman, Kirby Gillon, Bryce Lowe and Daniel Milstein of the Aaron Kirman Group at Compass hold the Leonard Estate listing. Check out more images below.
