Traditionally, CEOs have the fashion sense of an accountant shopping in the dark. It’s what you have to do when you want to minimise the number of decisions you have to make every day, and typically, that means a ‘trusty’ pair of New Balance sneakers paired with a t-shirt with their favourite team’s logo on the front. Of course, this outfit has to be finished off by a pair of well-worn Levis denim jeans with a cut number so far from 501 that a mathematician would need a calculator to figure it out.

Names like Jeff Bezos and Steve Balmer don’t jump to mind when discussing the most fashionable CEOs on earth. However, others like Steve Jobs and his Issey Miyake sweaters do, so what sets them apart? Well, it’s often down to something called quiet luxury, and that’s exactly what Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang seems to understand.

He announced his company’s new RTX 50 Series GPUs at CES2025, and while their value-for-money performance made an immediate impact in the tech world, it was his Tom Ford jacket that had an equally strong impact in the fashion world.

Jensen Huang’s jacket from CES2025 is a Tom Ford Patent Printed Croc Collar Blouson (#5221257027) priced at USD$8,990 (AUD$13,702) and is exactly what you would buy if you were the 9th wealthiest person in the world with a net worth of more than US$130.5 billion.

It’s a statement piece for a man who was making the ultimate statement on stage when announcing Nvidia’s RTX 5080 would cost $200 less than the 4080 did at launch.

The jacket is made in Italy from 100 per cent leather and features Tom Ford signature press snap fastenings along the cuffs and waist, a Tom Ford signature double zip closure, and a Tom Ford signature leather grab handle to round out the rocker aesthetic. Could it be the trendiest piece of clothing worn by a CEO since Mark Zuckerberg’s custom gold chain? Absolutely.

Since Jensen Huang wore the jacket on-stage at CES2025 it’s become a hot commodity, and the brand’s online website has almost sold out of the jacket in a matter of days. Want to get your hands on it? Be quick, and check out the link below.
