Over the course of just a few years, steam cleaning has become one of the biggest areas in technology development, and a range of leading brands are now offering home solutions to all your cleaning and ironing needs. We had the chance to try out Samsung’s Bespoke ‘AirDresser’ earlier this year, and continue to take advantage of it in the Man of Many offices to this day. And now, LG Electronics has thrown its hat in the steam cleaning ring with the release of its ‘Styler’ range that includes a ShoeCase and ShoeCare line-up. Sneakerheads, this one’s for you.

In terms of storage, we have the LG ShoeCase, the transparent panels of which are not only a space-friendly solution for shoe storage but a genius way to display them. We’ve been rounding up the best sneaker storage ideas for the last few years, but these take the cake and surely sit at the top of the list for storage options with a 360-degree rotating turntable and a modular design that makes it possible to stack up to four cases on top of one another.
The LG Styler ShoeCare solution makes use of the brand’s ‘TrueSteam’ technology that refreshes the shoes whether they’re leather, suede, or sports footwear. With 10 cycles to choose from, the TrueSteam system will refresh up to four pairs of shoes in 37 minutes (standard cycle) while operating at just 35 decibels.
To help remove moisture and smell, Zeolite Zeo-Dry filters are included to make shoes more pleasant to wear and store. This is combined with a Moving Nozzle that sucks moisture from the insides of the shoes and is fully adjustable according to the height of each pair. Styler ShoeCare is fully adjustable through the LG ThinQ app, where LG is partnering with various lifestyle brands to bring new features and functions to its shoe care appliances. No further details have been shared at this stage.
“LG’s new Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare form a total shoe care solution for refreshing, storing and displaying one’s footwear,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “Utilising our latest technologies and offering convenient control and design, these innovative products are ideal for consumers looking for a better, more enjoyable way to manage their shoe collection. We will continue to deliver innovative solutions for a better life at home.”
Pricing for the new LG Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare range will be revealed closer to the release date. More information about LG Clothes Styler can be found via the link below.
