Bose is taking its range of wireless speakers to new heights with the launch of the SoundLink Revolve and SoundLink Revolve+. Unlike a lot of new technology, these speakers are not previous models upgraded with a few enhancements. Bose built the Revolve speakers from the ground up to redefine the relationship between size, sound and battery power. There’s no ‘front’ or ‘back’ of the speaker. Instead, Revolve is omni-directional, meaning the speakers don’t have to be pointed to favour one location over another, the sound is broadcast equally in every direction.

The seamless aluminium design houses dual-opposing passive radiators with a powerful, ultra-efficient transducer and a new patented acoustic deflector. An added pressure trap eliminates distortion which results in deep, rich bass and spacious, clear, and remarkably loud sound.

The main differences between the two speaker models are their size and battery life. The Revolve measures 15.2cm high, weighs a mere 0.68 kg and provides up to 12-hours of battery life. Revolve+ is slightly bigger for more performance at 18.4cm high, 0.91kg and offers up to 16-hours of playtime. Both speakers can pair through NFC, and accept voice-prompts for fool-proof set-up. They feature an IPX4-rating to withstand spills, rain, and pool splashes; also they are built for rugged durability to survive dings, drops, and bumps.

Soundlink Revolve is basically the perfect party speaker that could cancel-out all complaints about speaker positioning. Revolve and Revolve+ will be available from 12th May 2017 and come in two colours: Triple Black and Lux Grey.
Check it out

Have you subscribed to Man of Many?
