A. Lange & Söhne Launch Two New Saxonia Models

To celebrate the 30th anniversary since A. Lange & Söhne was brought back to life by its founder’s grandson, the maison has released two wonderful new Saxonia models. The first is the Saxonia Outsize Date. Available in either a white gold or pink gold case with a black date, the Saxonia Outsize Date is the quintessential Lange timepiece, combining functionality with a distinct aesthetic known to the manufacturer. The second piece is the Saxonia Thin. Crafted in white gold and featuring a stunning black dial with tiny particles of copper, giving it a shimmering effect, the Saxonia Thin may be the ultimate dress watch from the German watchmaker.

MB&F Legacy Machine FlyingT Lapis Lazuli

New from MB&F is the Legacy Machine FlyingT Lapis Lazuli. This is the sixth model in MB&F’s female-focused collection and it’s the first to feature the stunning blue material that is known as Lapis Lazuli. This particular model features a white gold case encrusted with diamonds, working together to create a balance for the extravagant blue of the Lapis Lazuli dial. The flying tourbillon in the centre of the dial remains the piece’s focal point, of course.

Continuing on the theme of blue watches is the Hermès Arceau Grande Lune, Like the MB&F Legacy Machine FlyingT Lapis Lazuli, the Hermès Arceau Grande Lune features a stunning blue dial accentuated by a matching blue strap. The Hermès Arceau Grande Lune also features a full calendar by way of a day, date, month and moonphase indicator. This is a gorgeous timepiece, highlighted by the super architectural design of the wire lugs and the elegant flow of the case.

A First for Swatch Group in Australia

In what is a first for the Swatch Group here in Australia, we have a multitude of brands featuring at the same time at Monards on Collins Street, Melbourne. On display will be the Swatch Group Prestige collections as part of the Melbourne Watch Week, with novelties on display from the likes of Breguet, Blancpain, Jaquet Droz and Glashutte Original. This is the first time that all of these brands will be on show simultaneously in Australia, so if you’re in Melbourne, head down to Monards and check them out. Maybe don’t bring your wallet, though…
