Swatch has done something different. They proved that Swiss watchmaking does not always need to be serious, it can be fun and affordable while still maintaining the high-quality expected from a Swiss timepiece. Between the colourful straps, Guinness Book of World Records entry, and creation of the world's first mechanical movement using automated assembly, they also launched epic collaborations with the likes of Swarovski and Omega.
