If you’re used to seeing Vagabund kits being applied to motorcycles, especially of the BMW variety, then you’ll be excited to learn that they also do kits for cars. Their latest creation is for the 1989 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 Coupe. Dubbed the Daily 911, the custom creation turns the donor Porsche 911 SC 3.0 into a dark horse beauty that you’ll be sorely tempted to drive every chance you get. (Incidentally, that’s the whole idea, but more on that in a minute.)

Aside from the gloss black colourway, which includes the black Fuchs wheels, the Super Carrera was treated to quite a few bespoke add-ons, starting with the accumulator and continuing on to the manifold studs, v-belt, ignition system, rear coupling rods, and finishing off with the brake callipers. The gearbox also got some special treatment, as did the engine, to improve its performance. For those wondering, the 911 SC was powered by a 3.0-litre flat engine.

Vagabund continued the black-out treatment to the interior, which is festooned in black leather upholstery with grey houndstooth accents. A special Momo Protipo steering wheel was also installed. As a final touch, Vagabund added a custom roof rack, so you’ll have plenty of space for all your gear.

There has been some question regarding the original vehicle, seeing that Porsche didn’t make the 911 SC through 1989, but whatever the source was, it’s hard to argue with the results. Vagabund really delivered with this simple and interesting build.

With such a dark motif, you have to wonder about the name: “Daily 911.” This build seems like more of a nod to nighttime activities, but that doesn’t describe the purpose behind the car. Vagabund was aiming for a Porsche that you would want to drive on the daily, and given the looks, they definitely nailed that purpose.
