Just like everyone else, we’re often testing new stuff in our lives to see how we can make things better for ourselves. Whether it’s a new bag, a keyboard for our tablet, or a new Instagram page, we’re always on the hunt for something new to enjoy – and we don’t like gatekeeping our finds. So, check out everything our staff have been enjoying this week in our Staff Favourites!

Headcase Backpacks – Become a Hat Guy in Style
Scott Purcell – Co-Founder
I’m clearly lucky to have such talented and ambitious friends, as I’m back again with another mate’s new business venture (I feel it’s pretty important to disclose my relationship with any brands that I promote or recommend).
As a “bald guy”, my girlfriend keeps telling me that I need to become a “hat guy”, but beyond the baseball caps, a trendy Acubra is always difficult to travel with. Until now. Enter the Headcase Backpack, a premium travel accessory designed to protect your wide-brimmed hats while also accommodating other essentials for you on the go.
The front compartment fits 2-3 large hats up to 38x32cm in circumference with adjustable compression straps to keep things secure. In the back, you’ll find a padded sleeve for a 16-inch laptop, two internal slip pockets, and a zippered pocket for organised storage. Made from water-resistant vegan leather, it’s the perfect carry-on companion with external pockets for passports and a trolley sleeve to secure it to a suitcase at the airport. As a bonus, it also comes with two packing cubes made from water-resistant recycled twill nylon.
No, I have no excuses not to be a “hat guy” and keep my bald head protected.

Nike Air Max 97’s
Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships
I desperately need to step up my fashion game, and bringing my Air Max 97s back into rotation feels like a solid move. I purchased these some time ago because I wanted something similar to a Nike TN without the eshay label that comes with it. Big fan of the streetwear vibe, including the wave design and the classic air max bubbles.
It’s a very comfy shoe, and comes in a range of sick colour combos – however, I have gone with all-white because I’m basic af. Perhaps the new Dn8’s are next for me, or even better, I finally grow a pair and get the TN’s my heart truly desires.

The North Face Gore-Tex Mountain Jacket
John Guanzon – Head of Social
It’s almost puffer jacket season lads, so time to dust off those North Faces and RMs. Sure, we’re still getting some gloriously warm days in Sydney at the moment, but I have a feeling that time will come around sooner than we think. I pulled my winter gear out of storage last week and devastatingly found a massive rip in my favourite The North Face puffer (sad times), so I knew it was time for an upgrade.
Perfect timing, because The North Face is celebrating 40 years of the legendary Mountain Jacket with a fresh 2025 lineup, and the new Gore-Tex range looks pretty mint. Fully waterproof, packed with alpine-ready features, and built to handle everything from mountain blizzards to Sydney’s sideways rain, it’s got me covered—literally. Safe to say, I won’t be getting caught out in the cold this season.

JBL Go2+ Portable Bluetooth Multimedia Speaker
Med Noceda – Branded Content Assistant
Lately, I’ve been loving listening to music out loud (no headphones) when I’m just chilling at home, and this little speaker has been a game-changer. I didn’t think twice about getting it – of course, it’s JBL! I wanted something compact that I could easily take anywhere.
Since I don’t carry big bags, this one is the perfect size for me. The sound quality? Absolutely impressive! The bass in particular makes it feel like you’re rocking out with a much bigger speaker. For its size, it really packs a punch. Definitely a solid buy.

Lawns in Good Nick
Frank Arthur – Co-Founder
I’ve become weirdly obsessed with @lawnsingoodnick—a social account by a guy named Nick who’s turned lawn care into an art form. He posts videos of his immaculate, perfectly manicured grass, along with practical tips on everything from ideal mowing heights, mower choices (he owns a few), and seed-spreading techniques, to grass levelling and weed prevention. I’m hooked—even though I don’t have a lawn of my own. It’s unexpectedly therapeutic, so definitely worth a follow if you appreciate oddly satisfying content.

Hedgrin: FAITH Crossover Bag
Beatrix Boon – Social Content Producer
I thrifted this bag not too long ago, and it has quickly become an absolute go-to for me whenever I’m out. I loved my Carhartt ‘Small Essentials Bag’ bag, but this, in my opinion is way better. Much sleeker, flatter to the body, but somehow fits way more in it. I think it’s because of the softer puffer-jacket-like material… Plus, my one has a flap that goes over the top too, so no need to zip it up (I think this might be discontinued though). It’s got plenty of genuinely practical secret compartments too. I’m about to go away to NYC for a few weeks, and this little thing is going to serve me well.

ESR Rebound Magnetic Keyboard Case 360
Dianne Caliwan – Content Designer
I don’t like using my iPad without a case, and flimsy covers just don’t cut it—so the ESR Rebound Magnetic Keyboard Case 360 has been a solid pick for me. It fully protects my iPad while giving me the flexibility to use it in landscape, portrait, and raised-screen view, thanks to the detachable back case. I really like that the keyboard has its own battery that lasts for months, so it doesn’t drain my iPad’s charge.
But the best part? It comes in purple! It’s my favourite colour right now, and since most brands only offer black or white, this feels like a big win. The only downside is that it’s heavy. I don’t love carrying it around, but on the flip side, that extra weight keeps it stable enough to use on my lap without tipping over. Definitely a trade-off, but one I don’t mind.

UNIQLO : C Oversized Sweat Set
Rob Edwards – Branded Content Editor
With the Australian summer sadly over for another year, the colder weather is fast approaching. So it’s time to prepare for some lazy nights on the couch by finding the perfect rugging-up gear. Enter this new unisex sweat set from the UNIQLO : C A/W collection.
Created by renowned British designer Clare Waight Keller and boasting a wonderfully relaxed oversized fit, this is quite possibly the most comfortable sweatpants-and-hoodie combo I’ve ever come across. Available in black, grey, dark brown, and olive (my choice), I’m almost looking forward to the cooler nights that lie ahead now that I know I have this winning UNIQLO combo ready and waiting.
