Longines shows no sign of loosening its grip on 2026. Back in June, the maison launched 20 new three-hand references, establishing a fresh foundation for its long-celebrated Master Collection. Now, it’s set on erecting a grand horological house on top of that foundation, launching a further selection of ambitious, elegant, and superbly crafted men’s and women’s watches that take the Master Collection to another level.
From an expansion of its three-hand offering to a pair of glorious Chrono Monopushers and a stunning Chrono Moonphase, most of which sport the new signature barleycorn pattern upon their dial in one way or another, the latest Master Collection release sees Longines in full flight. Following the all-conquering HydroConquest refresh in March, 2026 has been a big year for the 194-year-old watchmaking firm, and these releases are its finest yet.
Below, I’ve hand-picked my favourites from the new references, including a blue-dialled Monopusher that I’m determined to make my very own sooner rather than later. In the meantime, I highly recommend exploring the full collection for yourself to find the one that suits you best.
Longines Master Collection Chrono Moonphase
Paired with either an elegant blue alligator leather strap or stainless steel bracelet, this exceptional timepiece takes the moonphase display, a signature Longines complication, and adds another layer of sophistication and complexity.
Powered by a Longines-exclusive self-winding mechanical movement with a 66-hour power reserve, this watch offers a lot to take in, but it does so with a precise elegance. This is enhanced by the way its numerous functions are arranged on the dial to create a sense of clarity and balance. Hours and minutes are joined by a combined small seconds and 24-hour indicator at 9 o’clock. The date is indicated along the dial circumference by a half-moon-shaped central hand. The chronograph features a 60-second central hand, a 30-minute counter with day and month indication at 12 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter combined with the moonphase display at 6 o’clock.
This all sits atop a silver dial sporting the new barleycorn pattern, which elevates each new Master Collection dial thanks to the way it plays with light. Snail engraving adorns each sub-dial, and the outermost edge of the dial features sandblasted detailing for added texture. Plus, nine applied blue Arabic numerals, paired with blued steel hands, simultaneously offer outstanding legibility and further refinement.
It’s housed within a 41-mm round stainless-steel case, fitted with a sapphire crystal with multi-layer anti-reflective coating on both sides. Of course, Longines’ iconic winged hourglass is engraved upon the crown, and turning the watch over reveals the movement through the transparent sapphire crystal case back.
Longines’ expertise in crafting this combination of chronograph and calendar indications, including the moonphase, extends all the way back to its pocket watches of the early 20th century. It comes as no surprise that with that kind of heritage, the maison has yet again called upon almost two centuries of accumulated expertise to craft this superb timepiece.

Longines Master Collection Chrono Monopusher
For my money, the most exciting addition to the Master Collection is the new Chrono Monopusher. Available in two models, the dial is realised in either silver opaline or frosted-blue barleycorn. I have my heart set on the latter, but both are unquestionably stunning.
These watches offer a particularly elegant take on the chronograph. Unlike your typical effort, the start, stop, and reset functions are controlled via a single pusher that’s integrated into the crown. With this, the watches embody a beautiful balance between technical sophistication and ease of use.
Further, in a history-minded touch, the pulsometer scale on the outer circumference of the dial allows the wearer to measure heart rate by timing a set number of beats (typically 30) and reading the corresponding pulse directly. Originally developed for doctors and nurses in a time before electronic heart-rate monitors, the pulsometer enabled quick pulse readings using wrist- or pocket-watch chronographs. Now, it provides a welcome nod to the watch’s medical heritage and vintage design.
Speaking of which, this dial is really something to behold. With snail-engraved sub-dials and sandblasted detailing on the outer edge, the execution here is outstanding. It’s further enhanced with applied Arabic numerals, either rhodium-plated and polished or 5N rose-plated, with matching hands.
All of the above is powered by the Longines-exclusive manual-winding mechanical movement: the column-wheel calibre L799.5. It’s equipped with a silicon balance spring and delivers a power reserve of up to 68 hours, ensuring precision and reliability. It’s viewable through the watch’s sapphire crystal case back.
Whether you’re as besotted with the frosted-blue finish as I am, or that silver opaline dial is your cup of tea, Longines’ Master Collection Chrono Monopusher is a very special release. Inspired by the early wrist chronographs worn by pioneering aviators like Amelia Earhart and Richard Byrd that established Longines as a key player in the world of aviation, these watches are the perfect embodiment of Longines past and present in a single piece.

Longines Master Collection Three-Hand Models
Following the aforementioned June release of a generous 20-piece addition to the three-hand corner of Longines’ Master Collection, the maison refuses to rest on its laurels. Expanding the three-hand offering once again, the brand has unveiled further executions, some sporting tasteful blue dials, while other variations feature two-tone bracelets and white mother-of-pearl dials with 11 Top Wesselton diamonds. These expand the line’s versatility, and while we’ll focus on a few key selections for the ladies here, you can trust me when I say the whole collection is worth investigating.
Across the 30-mm and 34-mm models, you can choose between a gorgeous frosted-blue sunray dial finish and white mother-of-pearl. The latter comes with 11 Top Wesselton diamonds and features stainless-steel construction with a 2N yellow cap 200 and a 2N 18k yellow-gold crown. Meanwhile, the former keeps things elegantly simple with a straight stainless-steel build. The bracelets differ in the same way, while offering shorter, redesigned links and a clasp equipped with micro-adjustment functionality for added comfort.
Through the watches’ display caseback, the Longines-exclusive automatic calibres L592.5 and L888.5 can be seen boasting artfully executed finishes, including oscillating weights on the two-tone models that reflect the bezel’s colour, underscoring Longines’ eye for detail.
Superbly executed, these models (alongside their 39- and 41-mm counterparts for men) are a perfect demonstration of how even traditional three-hand models can be elevated to the level of art when crafted by a maison with the skill, history, and passion of Longines.
