FAQs About ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and the MCU

Do I need to watch every single MCU project before watching ‘Avengers: Doomsday’?

No, you don’t need to watch all 30+ films and series. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe is interconnected, focusing on core storyline pillars – specifically the major Avengers ensemble films, Loki (Seasons 1 & 2), Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Deadpool & Wolverine—will give you all the essential Multiverse lore and character context you need before heading into the cinema.

Why are X-Men movies included in the ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ watch list?

With Marvel Studios officially integrating mutants into the Multiverse Saga, previous 20th Century Fox titles like X-Men, X2, and X-Men: Days of Future Past serve as foundational backstory. Key characters and multivariable timelines from these legacy films cross directly into the current MCU narrative, making them crucial background viewing.

Where can I stream the ‘Countdown to Doomsday’ movies in Australia?

The vast majority of the essential watchlist—including official Marvel Studios films, Disney+ originals like Loki and WandaVision, and the legacy Fox X-Men franchise—is available to stream directly on Disney+ Australia.
