True Classic Tees

Scott Purcell – Co-Founder

I’m a sucker. I saw these ads on Instagram for True Classic and after about a year of being pestered by a handsome dude in a tightish shirt, decided to find out what all of the fuss was about. As someone who tends to stick to Uniqlo U T-Shifts, the True Classic’s fabric is a little thinner and more breathable and hugs your body more, but in all the right places. It’s slightly tighter around your arms and biceps, yet looser around your mid-section. No more muffin tops. I also checked out their shorts and pants (or slacks). The shorts, believe it or not, run a little short on the thigh, a little more than above the knee length but they are probably some of the most comfortable stretchy fabric I’ve ever worn. Conversely, the pants, at a size 34, run a little long in length but are easily rolled up so you barely notice. They’re slim fitting, stretchy and super comfy to wear all day at the office. This could essentially replace my wardrobe with all the simple basics.

Coach Green

Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief

There is no substitute for smelling good and thankfully, this job keeps the cologne cabinet stocked and ready at all times. This week, I was treated to an early look at the new Coach Green, a fragrance laden with juicy Kiwi and crisp bergamot notes, just in time for the warmer weather. According to the brand, perfumer Marie Salamagne aimed to capture the relaxing feeling of rugged forestry against the dynamic energy of the city for this new scent. While those two elements feel completely at odds, I can attest to the fact that this stunning new fragrance is effortlessly snazzy, a bit like myself.

Sheet Society Kane Bamboo Sheets

Denise Barnes – Head of Branded Content

I’m not exaggerating when I say that these are hands down the best bedsheets I’ve ever slept in! They’re the epitome of smooth, soft, and silky, purposefully crafted to tackle a bunch of nuisances that can often disrupt your precious sleep time. As someone who’s both a hot sleeper and constantly waging war against allergies, these sheets have been a total game-changer. Crafted from 100% Bamboo Lyocell (and OEKO-TEX® certified for chemical safety), these sheets are naturally hypoallergenic, possess fantastic anti-allergy and anti-bacterial properties, and excel at moisture-wicking.

They’re also masters at thermoregulation and breathability, meaning you can maintain a consistently comfortable body temperature, whether it’s the sweltering days of summer or the chill of winter. And the fact that it’s also made from sustainable materials is just the eco-friendly cherry on top. In a nutshell, it’s like sleeping in a heavenly realm of anti-allergy luxury. I’ve got the Sage set (as shown above), but they also come in White, Midnight, and Blush, catering to any aesthetic you’re aiming for. Now, here’s the best part: Sheet Society is rolling out an epic site-wide sale with up to 30% off on everything starting from tomorrow, October 22, and running through to November 4. It’s the perfect time to stock up and make the switch. Trust me on this one, you won’t have any regrets.

Casetify iPhone 15 Pro Max Case

I’ve made the big switch people. After being team Samsung for the last 7 years of my life, the opportunity was given to go back to the fruit and try out the new iPhone 15 Pro Max. It’s not a decision I’ve taken lightly, but as social media has become such an important aspect of our business, creating high-quality content for Instagram is only really possible on an iPhone. It’s not Samsung’s cameras either, just a throttling issue that happens when you upload from an Android device… I could go on forever on this, but I digress. My new iPhone needed a case and the supplied Apple Fabric Case showed signs of deterioration after only two-weeks. Not great. Like a sign in the clouds, Casetify reached out and offered to send me a custom case. I’ve seen these things across my girlfriend’s Instagram, so I gave them a shot. I’m pleased to say the case is really good quality, comfortable to hold in hand with rounded edges, but most importantly, it doesn’t slide out of your pocket or add any excess weight. Two thumbs up Casetify!

Stitch Bar

Naman Singh – Journalist

Taking inspiration from an American diner / speakeasy, Stitch is the perfect place to wind down if you’re looking for a fun, casual and slightly stylish night out with friends. Hidden away on York Street, near Wynyard, the saloon-like double doors and grand staircase reveal a cosy, low and warmly lit space with just enough hustle and bustle to make you feel vibrant, but not so loud that you can’t maintain a conversation.

Stitch borrows its ambience from 1940’s New York and it’s selection of cocktails imbibe this culture. From rare whiskeys to classic cocktails, to typically American nibbles like wings and hot dogs, it’s by far my favourite bar in Sydney. My personal recommendations would be the Charlie Chaplin and jalapeno poppers, as a light snack to share.

Bobby Soft Drinks

Sam Mangioni – Journalist

Your boy loves a fizzy drink. However, between the pre-workout and Coca-Cola, crushing cans on the daily isn’t exactly doing wonders for my health. Enter Bobby, a health-focused soft drink that doesn’t completely suck (most do). Packed with a premium all-natural prebiotic that aids digestion and boosts gut bacteria, satisfying a soda has never felt this good. Best of all, it’s 32-40 calories per can, low in sugar and made from environmental packaging – saving both my rig and the planet. So if. like me, you’ve always struggled to kick the fizz, crack open a Bobby and sip your way to a six-pack (kidding, that will require some additional effort). My pick of the range is Passion Fruit, but there are heaps of options to satisfy almost everyone’s needs.

Victrola Stream Carbon Works with Sonos Turntable

Rob Edwards – Branded Content Writer

Victrola has been making turntables for well over 100 years, however, this incredibly stylish model looks like it came directly from the future. Verified by the ‘Works with Sonos’ program, you can rest assured that Victrola’s Stream Carbon Turntable will seamlessly fit into your home Sonos network, having met the speaker-maker’s notoriously high standards.

Unquestionably the best-looking turntable I’ve ever seen, its remarkably streamlined and stylish design has been brought to life using only the most premium materials, and I can happily confirm that it has proved a genuine head-turner. Plus, by packing a carbon-fibre tonearm, immaculately machined aluminium headshell, and a premium Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, it delivers a high-end listening experience that matches its remarkable looks.

While analogue obsessives will question the wisdom of connecting a turntable to your sound system wirelessly, I’m happy to leave those luddites to fiddle with their ugly mess of cables. While they do so I’ll just have another one of my favourite records effortlessly playing throughout my home via my multi-room Sonos system. Who’d have thought listening to vinyl could feel like the future?
