M.J. Bale’s Spring 2021 Collection ‘The Revivalist’ Launches


Australian-owned gentleman’s clothier M.J. Bale has released its Spring 21 collection and it’s a refreshingly casual suiting approach. Entitled The Revivalist, the Collection uses sustainable natural fibres such as linen grown in Normandy, France as well as Australian Merino wool and BCI-certified organic cotton. Get ready for Spring with 1950s-inspired buttonless polos, linen-cotton Dickie polos available in navy and ivory as well as grey and olive colourways.

In terms of pieces, The Revivalist is a mixed bag. Why not give the lightweight organic cotton crew knits available in coral, navy and ivory a try or one of the many classic long-sleeve organic cotton polos. And for some Summer style in spring try the Cuban-inspired Costeno with textured vertical detailing or the exclusive floral cotton shirts in short-sleeve and long-sleeve options.

Linen makes a strong comeback this spring, with breathable linen shirts made from flax grown sustainably in Normandy are revived in 11 different colours. Linen wool Mongibello polos are available in coral and sky blue. Linen shorts in different colours and oversized camouflage print, linen lounge pants in denim and charcoal.

M.J. Bale revives its casual tailored blazers range. The expanded range features wool-silk check blazers woven by Loro Piana textile mill in Italy, an unstructured pink-pomegranate blazer in wool-linen and a green linen-cotton blazer with navy windowpane check. Want something more casual, try the softly tailored wool-linen blousons woven in Italy or try the water-repellent 100% wool bomber in subtle navy on-navy Prince of Wales check.

For those looking to dress up this spring, M.J. Bale has you covered with woven in Italy trans-seasonal tailoring and suits. They’re designed with ultimate versatility in mind. For those looking for a traditional look give the Gatsby a try, this classic cotton seersucker suit includes four separates: jacket, waistcoat, trousers and tailored shorts. For those looking for a classic look try the Salvador pin-stripe suit in brown-taupe made with unstructured linen woven in Italy.

Wanna stand out this spring, the collection introduces tone-on-tone camouflage tuxedoes. These include the Caballo and Geronimo both are made in a natural stretch wool jacquard fabrication exclusive to the brand. Pair them with casual linen shirts available in charcoal, white and navy.

For a modern tailored look, try the ‘Flow’ suiting range. The range features the woven in Italy Lazenby and Rafferty natural stretch woollen suits available in grey and navy.
