Welcome to Sneaker News #99. This week, Nike and Off-White are continuing to honour Virgil Abloh’s legacy with another collab that this time turns its attention to the hiking boot aesthetic. If you’re looking for a more traditional silhouette though, Travis Scott has put his spin on the Nike Attack. And, if you’re not keen on Scott’s Cactus Jack logos, there is another Nike Attack release with a cleaner look. Virgil Abloh’s creative legacy lives on with the Terra Forma in Mantra Orange. Drawing inspiration from Nike’s late ’80s and early ’90s aesthetics, Off-White transforms the hiking boot into luxury statement. Once again in collaboration with Travis Scott, the Nike Attack has arrived. Originating in ’84, this colour-blocked shoe redefined on-court aesthetics and forever altered the game’s appearance. Now Scott takes his eye to it, defining it with the distinctive backward Swoosh and the custom Cactus Jack heel embroidery. A pop of colour on the tongue is thematically carried across to the eye-catching box. Nike will have these for sale on 19th December.
