Seiko Presage 1913 Laurel

From Seiko, we have the new Presage 1913 Laurel. Made to celebrate the maison’s 110th anniversary, the Presage 1913 Laurel is based on a creation that Seiko unveiled in 1913, which was Japan’s very first wristwatch. First, we have an elegant steel case, along with Arabic numerals and ornate-blued hands set against that lovely enamel dial. Then we have the enlarged onion-shaped crown, as well as some interesting moveable lugs, which enhance comfort and durability for the wearer. Finally, we have the workhorse Seiko-manufactured Caliber 6R27 powering this faithful yet contemporary reimagining of a classic.
