ZEGNA and The Elder Statesman Link for Psychedelic Oasi Cashmere Collection
ZEGNA and The Elder Statesman are two high-fashion heavyweights known for their unique use of materials, forward-thinking “crafted for tomorrow” ethos, and accompanying price points that often leave us breathless and light in the pocket. No matter what attracts you to the brand, there’s something special when two of the biggest names in fashion combine over a singular goal, that is, merging two identities into a new one with the use of the most premium material in fashion, Oasi cashmere.

Teased during the ZEGNA FW23 fashion show in Milan, the capsule collection has officially been revealed in all its material expression. Dedicated to the world’s finest raw materials, we particularly enjoy this collection’s attention to material details. Everything is soft in shape and feel, offering a seamless flow between work and leisure, day and night, with easy-wearing pieces in orange hues.
To that end, Ermenegildo Zegna Group has also revealed that it’s been providing materials for The Elder Stateman’s integrated platform of 50+ artisans including knitters, hand-dyers and embroiders in Los Angeles. This partnership will extend into the future and bridges ZEGNA’s commitment to being fully certified and traceable by 2024.
“This partnership feels like a homecoming, and after two and a half years of deep and meaningful discussions with ZEGNA, our co-designed collection is a symptom of something much larger: recognition of quality, craft, and deep mutual respect,” said Greg Chait, Founder and CEO of The Elder Statesman.
“Dialogues like this allow us to add new layers to our world, finding other expressions to Oasi Cashmere. We worked on this collection completely together, merging our shapes with The Elder Statesman’s distinctive colours and all-pervading spontaneity. It’s the very idea of cross-pollination, which is what happens in Oasi Zegna as a natural organism and can be turned into a business and creative model which allows us to reach out to a new audience,” said ZEGNA Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori.
The collection will be available starting from September this year in key ZEGNA stores globally, The Elder Statesman retail channels and in selected wholesale partners.
