American fast-food chain Arby’s has launched two different vodka’s inspired by its Curly and Crinkle Fry offerings. Sharing their passion for potatoes, the limited-edition 80 proof spirits are made from premium spuds and distilled with real ingredients inspired by Arby’s fries.
Both flavours have been distilled by Tattersall Distilling Company and distributed by Surfyk’s Liquor & Cheese Shop. The Crinkle Fry Vodka boasts the taste of potato shapes with real kosher salt and a sugar implemented to round out the taste notes. While the Curly Fry Vodka conveys the taste and texture of the crisp, spiced, curled potatoes with subtle undertones of garlic, cayenne, paprika, and onion.
Speaking on their latest alcoholic offering, CMO of Arby’s, Patrick Schwing stated: “Arby’s recently added a Crinkle-cut option to accompany our iconic Curly Fries, providing another choice for fry-lovers. Though we’ve mastered the art of drive-thru fries, we wanted to take is one step further – by making them 80-proof. Being a potato-based liquor, this limited-edition vodka is infused with crinkle and curly fry flavour so Arby’s fans can enjoy our menu from bag to bottle. And we’ve worked to Chef Justin Sutherland to create Arby’s menu-inspired cocktails that pair perfectly with the new vodka flavour profiles.”
Arby’s limited edition Curly Fry Vodka and Crinkle Fry Vodka will be available for USD$60.00 on their website from November 18, with a second drop released on November 22.
With a night on the spirits often resulting in a fast-food pit stop, we commend the genius of the Arby’s brain trust. We now wait with anticipation to see what competing brands come up with in the future. Chicken nugget infused beer, anyone?
