Brisbane Mega-Mansion

This $15 Million Australian Mega-Mansion is Proof You Need a 35-Car Garage

Every bloke dreams of one day building a mancave in their home. However, a little sanctuary dedicated to hobbies and interests is perhaps too small a goal. Why limit your masculine endeavours of gaming, drinking and masturbation to just one measly room? Inspiring the juvenile masses, one real estate revolutionary has finally broken the social conditioning and created a 10,000 sqm Mansion-cave in Brisbane (of course). Best of all, it can now be yours for AU$15 million.

Boasting nearly every amenity imaginable, 74 Bacton Road, Chandler, in BrisVegas’ southeast, looks like the result of an adolescent architect with unlimited funds. Among its most outrageous features are a 35-car garage, a soccer field, a championship-size tennis court that doubles as a basketball court and a glass-framed swimming pool. Described on the listing as an “entertainment house”, the main residence includes a theatre room and an arcade that would make Timezone jealous. There’s also a private, 2000s-era nightclub-style bar, billiards table and a 3-D golf simulator to keep you distracted from all of life’s worries.

“It’s in a league of its own,” broker Heath Williams of Place Estate Agents told Mansion Global. “It’s a house with two of everything, such as an indoor and an outdoor cinema, an indoor and outdoor spa, a cardio and a weights gym and two different arcade spaces.” The modern Queensland McMansion took eight years to complete and really resembles more of a compound with its four structures. One of those buildings is that insane showroom, which is separate from the main residence and currently houses everything from Aston Martins to Ferraris to Porsches. “The garage is a highlight. It not only caters to car collections; it is full of potential as its generous size would also serve as a venue space,” adds Williams.

Within the resort-style digs are six en-suite bedrooms, each encompassing a large walk-in closet. Perfect for a cashed-up King and Queen, the primary suite includes a private balcony and a soaking tub that was imported from Italy. Elsewhere, you’ll find two gyms and an indoor sauna to blow off steam after a hard day racing on the SEGA Daytona machines.  There are also four different office spaces, however, with everything this palatial pad offers, we expect it’s going to be tough to get any work done.
