Hennessey ford bronco 1 1

Hennessey is Building a Monster 405HP Ford Bronco VelociRaptor

Considering what they did for the Ford F-150 Raptor—transforming it into the VelociRaptor—it should come as no surprise that Hennessey Performance has turned their attention to the new 2021 Ford Bronco. Taking what they learned from the VelociRaptor, Hennessey has transformed the Bronco into a high-performance off-roader with all the power you can imagine.

2021 Ford Bronco

Hennessey started out their Bronco project with the Bronco Badlands and began the transformation process by adding 75 horsepower and 88 lb-ft of torque to the 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, bringing the total to 405 horsepower at 5,700 rpm and 503 lb-ft of torque at 3,900 rpm. The added power has the Bronco galloping from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.9 seconds.

“Whether you’re on- or off-road, more power is what our customers demand, and our VelociRaptor 400 Bronco really delivers!” says John Hennessey, the founder and CEO of Hennessey Performance. “The new Bronco is destined to be an icon and our customers want their Bronco to stand out with enhanced styling and, of course, more power!”

In addition to the increased performance, Hennessey offers an Off-Road Package that lets owners customize their Bronco to suit their tastes. The package includes 35-inch off-road tires on 18-inch Hennessey wheels, new front and rear VelociRaptor bumpers, and retractable side steps. The build comes with plenty of VelociRaptor branding. The build comes in both two and four door versions and you can also select a soft-top version.

To keep the VelociRaptor 400 Bronco even more unique, production will be limited to just 200 units in 2021. As they usually do with their builds, Hennessey plays their cards close to the chest when it comes to releasing pricing for the build. Considering that the Bronco Badlands donor car starts at $43,590 for the two-door version and $46,085 for the four-door, and considering that the VelociRaptor retails for around $80,000, you can bet that you’ll have to pay a bit extra for this unique Bronco.
