One of the most sought-after automobiles in the world was just auctioned off by Sotheby’s in January. We envy whoever was luckily enough to snag this precious car.

The 1995 Ferrari F50 was initially revealed at the Geneva Motor Show back in 1995. Since then, the 1995 Ferrari F50 has become a collector’s dream. Since being introduced back in 1995, the likes of Mike Tyson and other famous stars have owned these rare muscle cars.

This 1995 Ferrari F50 that was sold at Sotheby’s is super rare. There were only four black 1995 F50s ever produced. Just two of these rare Ferraris were sent to the United States. One was totalled several years ago. That leaves this Ferrari F50 as the only Nero black one located in the United States.

As you would expect, the 1995 Ferrari F50 has some mind-blowing specs. It can reach 96 km/h in just 3.6 seconds flat. With a top speed of 325 km/h, few cars can match its speed. The 4.7-liter V12 engine, a sibling of the one used in Formula One race cars, produces 520 horsepower and 347 pound-feet of torque. It has two overhead camshafts per bank and five valves per cylinder.

With just 2,090 on the odometer, this Ferrari is pristine. It comes with almost all of its original accessories, including the original hardtop. Most of the accessories were still wrapped in their original packaging and never used. These include the car cover, factory luggage, tool kit, canvas top and two sets of keys.
Check it out
Have you subscribed to Man of Many?
