Here we go, kids. The weekend is upon us, and there are a whole bunch of free things you can go and enjoy. With everything always getting more expensive into infinity, it’s nice to be offered a freebie every now and again, and this week is delivering.

From free smoothies, choc tops and burgers, to a free pilates class (first come, first served), there’s something for pretty much everyone here. Plus, it’s all centred around feeling better in your body – how good’s that!

Activia Giving Away 100 Free Macha Smoothies and Choc Tops at Bondi this Weekend

If you’re in the Bondi area of Sydney this Saturday, 29 March, it might be prudent to stop by Up South Cafe – probiotic yoghurt brand Activia is taking over the cafe for the day, and is giving away hundreds of goodies to visitors.

Specifically, the brand is giving away macha smoothies to the first 100 people that visit, Activia chop top to the next 100. Plus, the first 200 people to visit the cafe will get an Activia goodie bag, which we’re guessing will come packed with more probiotic goodness.

Activia will be at Up South Cafe, 249 Bondi Road, Bondi, from 7.30am on Saturday, so get in quick!

Woollahra Festival Celebrates 2025 in 2025

Elsewhere in Sydney, the annual Woollahra Festival kicks off this weekend, bringing live entertainment, food, drinks, and family-friendly adventures. A celebration of the postcode (2025, in case you didn’t know), the Woollahra Festival also encourages local businesses to show off the goods a bit.

The Woollahra Hotel, for example, will serve up $20 glasses of Piper Heidieck champagne, as well as $20 burgers, $20 skewers, $20 steak and chips, $15 Don Julio margarita slushies, $10 non-alc slushies, and $10 fries.

Monclur Cellars is partnering with Tyrrell’s Wines, offering 20 per cent off the brand’s wines across the whole weekend and hosting a tasting on Friday, helmed by brand guardian Jane Tyrrell.

The Festival will also play host to the Philharmonic Orchestra, the Writers’ Festival, an afternoon of jazz, and a community dog show.

Mary’s Giving Away 200 Impossible Burgers in ‘Bloody Delicious’ Challenge

If you’re looking for a burger later next week, Mary’s has you covered. On Thursday, 3 April, you can head to Mary’s Circular Quay between midday and 3pm, to get your hands on a potentially free burger.

Potentially free? Well, the catch is that you’ll need to do a taste-test to see if you can tell the difference between the real deal or Impossible Foods’ plant-based alternative. If you can guess right, you’ll get a free burger.

I’ve had a couple Impossible Burgers in my day, and it isn’t easy to tell the difference. Even if you get it wrong, though, you’ll be surrounded by foodies: foodfluencers Tom Sharpe and Chester See will be there, as well as everyone’s favourite TV chef Huey.

If you’re interested in putting your tastebuds to the test, get down to Mary’s on Thursday.

Liquid I.V. Offers Free Pilates by the Pool next Thursday

Before heading to Mary’s for a burger, perhaps head to the Bondi Icebergs for some calming (and complimentary) Pilates, delivered by Bondi’s Body by Berner.

This is thanks to the good folk at Liquid I.V., a hydration solution who are the official hydration partner of Bondi Beach, who are transforming the Bondi Icebergs Swimming Club into one big hydration station.

On Thursday, 3 April, you can head down to the Bondi Icebergs at 6am to learn more about the importance of hydration and, if you registered, enjoy a free Pilates class. Even if you don’t do the class, there’ll be a ‘mix & sip’ on the Bondi Promenade on Friday, 4th, from 6 am to 10 am, so you can have a little beach boogie.
