Rick Ross Buys Atlanta Home Just to ‘Ride By It’ Every Day
If you’re in need of some mid-week motivation, Rick Ross never fails to inspire. The 45-year-old has transformed himself from a rapper to a fully-fledged music mogul, boasting an estimated net worth of USD$40 million. Not one to get complacent, Ross recently revealed he still owns a million-dollar property in Atlanta so that he can drive by it every time he’s in town.

During an interview with Revolt TV’s new show Assets Over Liabilities, the Miami native spoke openly about building his empire through music, real estate and other ventures. Whether an overt flex or a subtle self-reminder to keep grinding, the Maybach Music Group CEO shared his purpose for owning the property.
“Homes was something I was always fascinated about, so me and my homies started coming up to Atlanta,” said Ross. “We used to ride by here all the time. We’d stop, pull over and just be like goddamn. After I got my deal and my situation, I bought a million-dollar home maybe two minutes from here that I still own that’s right around the corner just so I can ride by it every day while I’m in Atlanta, and that’s what the play was.”
No stranger to million-dollar homes, HipHopDX reports that he recently purchased a $3.5 million crib in Florida, as well as a 109-room estate in Georgia. Additionally, he has a car collection similar to a Grand Theft Auto character, owning over 100 automobiles. Some may feel that’s a little excessive but completely necessary for a boss like Rick.
