Ain’t no thang like a Fireball fried chicken wing. Yes, it is a real thing and yes, you can order a whole bucket-full and have it delivered straight to your door. What a time to be alive, albeit in isolation.
As of this coming Friday, 17 April, Sydneysiders can order boozy Fireball Fried Chicken buckets via Menulog from The Big Easy, a New Orleans inspired bar on Darlinghurst’s Stanley street. Originally meant to be a new addition to the bar’s in-house menu, the widespread lockdown has forced the team to not only adapt, but conquer, meaning even more folks can get their grubby paws on this Fireball-spiked goodness.
Every bucket will contain six large pieces of Fireball infused chicken and will be served with a bottle of flaming Fireball hot sauce, said to have a whopping 16% ABV. Don’t know about you, but that sounds pretty damn tasty. And for those not into meaty dishes, they’ve got your back too. Their delicious vegan Louisiana Fireball Fried Cauliflower version of the dish is promised to be packed with the same punch.
The menu doesn’t stop there either. If you want the kick without the spice, you can also opt for the twice-fried Sweet Corn Hush Puppies served with smooth molasses and Buffalo Trace Bourbon butter. (Insert drool emoji here). Top it all off with a slice of Fireball Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake and a Buffalo Trace cocktail and you’ve got yourself a real Southern treat.
Y’all can have your Fireball fried chicken and eat it too.
