There’s a diminishing pool of classic Austin and Leyland Minis in the world today. Prone to rust, very few have made it into the modern era, but that just makes them all the more desirable. So how do you make people want this classic automobile even more? You might consider partnering with iconic audio equipment manufacturer Marshall to celebrate their 60th anniversary. David Brown Auto is doing just that, offering a limited supply of just 60 Mini Remastered Marshal Edition autos.

The restored cars will come in both left- and right-hand drive, and David Brown will be adding a few more features specific to this model. Unique colors and finishes inspired by Marshall products top the list of those model-specific features. Of course, there will also be Marshall products in the car, including a bespoke Marshall amplifier, which takes up residence in the leather-lined trunk.
The Marshall DSL1 Combo amplifier is powered by an independent power supply and connects to a Marshall Emberton portable Bluetooth speaker, which has been integrated into the boot, making it a great option for that outdoor jam session. If you want to sit back in the car and enjoy your music, the interior is decked out with dashtop-mounted tweeters, speakers in the doors, and more equipment on the rear parcel shelf.
A charging point has also been added to the glove compartment, so you can charge your Marshall Motif A.N.C. wireless headphones, which are included in the package. For your driving pleasure, the Mini comes with a 1.3-litre engine attached to a five-speed manual transmission.
“We’re proud to partner with Marshall Amplification,” says David Brown, CEO and Founder of David Brown Automotive. “We are hugely influenced by music and to partner with such an iconic brand to create this very special Mini Remastered, and to help them celebrate 60 years in business, a momentous milestone, was an opportunity we didn’t want to pass on. It seems fitting to unite the classic Mini and Marshall—two British icons—and in doing so to inject the Mini, a favorite among music stars through the ages, with serious rock and roll appeal. We’re delighted with the resulting car.”
