Ducati diavel v4 for bentley feature 2

Ducati Diavel for Bentley is a Two-Wheeled Limited-Edition Work of Art

Unveiled during a ‘fuorisalone’ event in the context of Art Basel in Miami Beach, the Ducati Diavel for Bentley links performance, craftsmanship and exclusivity rarely seen in the world of motorcycles with a completely new design inspired by the Bentley Batur and a handful of unique and refined components alongside a dedicated livery. The Diavel V4-based bike will be limited to just 500 units with an additional 50 reserved for Bentley customer’s customisation through Mulliner. Let’s take a closer look.

The similarities between the 740 PS twin-turbo W12-engined Bentley Batur and this special-edition Diavel V4 start with a new forged wheel design that mimics those of the car. Here we see them painted in a gorgeous Dark Titanium Satin which leaves some machined surfaces visible.

Down the side of the motorcycle, the side air intakes reflect the two-tone front grille while the triangular rear extractors refer to the corresponding elements of the car. Maybe our favourite element is the combination of the front mudguard, fairing, and the upper view of the tank that recalls the ribs on the front bonnet of the Batur. Finally, the single-seater tail (replaceable with an included passenger seat) takes styling cues from the double-layer extractor on the back of the car.

Unlike a standard Diavel V4, several physical body panels have been made in carbon fibre. This includes the fenders, headlamp cover, engine, exhaust and radiator covers, radiator shrouds, side panels, and tailpiece.

Finally, the rider’s seat is finished in black Alcantara, again taking inspiration from the interior of the car, while the underlying red fabric is the same texture as that of the Batur seats and with the Bentley logo embroidered on the rear pad. The dual outlet exhaust and cover have been redesigned to harmonise with the refined lines of the bike and help produce that signature sound from the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine producing an unchanged 168hp.

If you want to get your hands on the Ducati Diavel for Bentley you’ll have to be quick as this bike is limited to 500 units for customers with an additional 50 reserved for existing Bentley customers who also get the opportunity to customise the bike further through Bentley Mulliner. You’ll also want to get your hands on the exclusive jet helmet and a technical jacket to match. More information about the collection can be found below.
