Are you obsessed with what is probably Apple TV+’s best show, Severance, and wishing that you could also work at Lumen Industries? First of all, what’s wrong with you, and secondly do I have a keyboard for you.

The fine folks at Atomic Keyboard have announced they’re launching a 1:1 replica of the keyboard from the show, which itself is based on a classic terminal design known as the Data General ‘Dasher’ Terminal that was popular in the 70’s and 80’s.

However, eagle-eyed users will realise a few things are missing: if you use Atomic Keyboard’s MDR Dasher, there’ll be no escape, no control, and no options. Like, the keys aren’t on the keyboard.

While a reduction in functionality may not be ideal, you can’t deny the vibes are strong with this one.

The MDR Dasher will feature a 73-key, 70-per-cent design in keeping with the show, while also featuring custom keycaps, an optical trackball module, and USB-C connectivity. According to Atomic, it’ll work with Windows, macOS, and Linux.

It’ll be a limited release, so if you’re keen on getting your hands on one your best bet will be to head over to Atomic Keyboard’s website and sign up to join the pre-launch list. You can do so here.

Looking for more Severance? You’re in luck

While Atomic Keyboards is working on bringing the show’s prop to the real world, the people behind Severance are working on bringing a third season to life.

Showrunner Ben Stiller announced, alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook, that season three is already underway, following the hugely successful second season of Severance dropped earlier this year.

And while it took a few years to get the second season, Stiller is hoping it won’t take so long for us to see some new episodes, telling the New Heights Podcast, “the plan is not to .”

In the meantime, both seasons of Severance stream exclusively on Apple TV+.
