Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Infrared
Made for the Chinese market, the new Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Infrared is encased in PVD-coated Grade 5 titanium and features a stunning forged carbon dial. The dial’s dark look is offset by red accents, which characteristically give the piece a striking demeanour. This red tinge is carried through to the red-stitched strap, which again, like the red dial accents, does well to offset the dark theme of the watch overall. Love it!

Zenith El Primero Chronomaster Revival A3817
Zenith has unveiled its latest vintage-inspired piece with the El Primero Chronomaster Revival A3817. Based on the legendary model originally released in 1971, the new El Primero Chronomaster Revival A3817 features the same tonneau-shaped case and pump-style pushers as the original model, along with a tri-colour white lacquered dial. The El Primero Chronomaster Revival A3817 has clean lines, all paying tribute to the iconic reference from 1971, while still boasting modern technologies and innovations throughout.

Raymond Weil Maestro Men’s Automatic
Raymond Weil seems to be on a bit of roll at the moment. Its latest piece is the Maestro Men’s Automatic, a semi-openworked dress piece boasting an exposed balance wheel just below the 12 o’clock marker. We really like the rose gold PVD coated case which pairs beautifully with the darkness of the black dial, offset by the exposed balance wheel. A gorgeous piece from every angle.

TAG Heuer Monaco Special Edition
TAG Heuer is another watchmaker that is continuing to release timepiece after timepiece in the past few months, but hey, when they look as good as the latest Monaco Special Edition does, I’m not going to complain. The Monaco Special Edition was made for the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix way back in 1969. Fast forward to 2021 and the Monaco continues to be one of the most iconic watches in the world. The new Monaco Special Edition is a beautiful piece that combines a very lovely aesthetic with a titanium case, a material rarely used in the collection. The silvered dial is offset by the most subtle of red accents and pairs well with the sandblasted case. Perhaps one of the most aesthetically pleasing models of the Monaco released in recent years.

Bremont Solo Lady K
New from Bremont is the Solo Lady K. Named after the boat Nick and Giles’ father built for their mother, the Solo Lady K is indeed a very beautiful, very classical and very delicate looking watch perfectly suited for our female counterparts. Available in a stainless steel case with a bezel set with 60 brilliant-cut diamonds, the Solo Lady K comes with either a white mother-of-pearl dial or a black Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial. Both dials come with 8 diamonds in place of the hour indices. So far the Solo Lady K talks the talk, but as with so many other watches for the female collector, a mechanical movement goes amiss. Not in the case of the Solo Lady K, where Bremont has used the mechanical BE-92AV movement which is visible through the open sapphire cas back. Between the two we’d definitely be gunning for the white mother-of-pearl dial model. Fantastic stuff.
