Hollywood A-lister, burger entrepreneur and fitness icon, Mark Wahlberg is selling his massive, six-acre Beverley Hills estate for a staggering USD$87.5 million, 13 years after purchasing the property for USD$8 million and creating his family dream home. Located in the swanky North Beverley Park community that overlooks Hollywood, the 50-year-old enlisted the help of architect Richard Landry of the Landry Design Group to create what we can only describe as a rich jock’s paradise.

If Marky Mark is able to reach anywhere close to his asking price, his 30,500 square foot megamansion known as The Premiere would be considered the most expensive sale in Beverley Park history. Featuring 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms, the home covered in European limestone offers a Roman design with contemporary living spaces from a family room to an extensive library.
As you’d expect, the house comes packed with every amenity imaginable, from a skate park, full-length basketball court, five-hole golf course, tennis court, home theatre, a wine cellar, gym, resort-style pool, manicured gardens, landscaped grounds and a separate guest house.

Walking through the front door, a spectacular two-story entry welcomes guests into the home and includes a grand foyer with a dual staircase. Marble flooring has been used throughout the front of the house until reaching the kitchen, where the actor has chosen dark wooden floors to contrast the bright white aesthetic. To maximise gym gains, Wahlberg opted for double countertops with built-in luxurious appliances to complement the six-burner stove.
Since the development of the neighbourhood in the 1980s, Beverley Park’s gated community has played host to some of Hollywood’s biggest heavyweights. Residents of the area include Justin Bieber, Denzel, Washington, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sofia Vergara and Eddie Murphy. What a block party that must be!
