This that OG space shit. That Star Wars on a budget shit. Sit at home and binge shit.
A new trailer just dropped for The Mandalorian and it’s already hit more than 5 million views. Jon Favreau writes and directs the series, which is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order (Star Wars talk…). It follows a lone warrior into the deep dark corners of the galaxy. Described as the original Star Wars, it’s Lucasfilm’s first live-action series.
If you don’t already know, live-action productions use a whole lotta photographs to create animation. They involve real people and animals and props, as opposed to computer drawn models and images. In theory this should make for a really believable looking production, but don’t get carried away – rhinos can’t actually live in space.
Hop on your flying space rhino and head nowhere – The Mandalorian is coming to you. It debuts 12 November on Disney+, the same date the streaming service launches. The Disney+ library will include classics from wayyy-back-when (1937) to present day, including all your favourites like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Aladdin, Moana, and Disney Channel shows like Lizzie McGuire and Duck Tales.
