The exterior of the chess set echoes RIMOWA’s celebrated luggage range, exuding elegance and sophistication. However, it also carries a subtle air of intrigue, reminiscent of a villain’s briefcase in a high-stakes movie scene. Except, instead of concealing cash, it houses one of the most timeless board games ever created.

While the exterior design captivates with its sleek aesthetic, the practical features are equally impressive. A sturdy ergonomic handle ensures comfortable transport, while an integrated combination lock provides security for your valuable chess pieces during travels to tournaments or gatherings.

Inside, the sophistication continues with a plush black leather lining adorned with RIMOWA’s distinctive logo and monogram. Opening the case reveals a meticulously crafted wooden board wrapped in leather and magnetised for stability, enclosed within an anodised aluminium frame proudly displaying the RIMOWA logo. Below the board, a luxurious leather divider with soft foam padding ensures the safety and protection of the chess set.

The interior compartments, lined with microfiber and foam, are designed to house each chess piece securely. From the humble pawn to the regal king, every piece features a bespoke design adorned with RIMOWA’s signature monogram, lasered onto the base for personalised elegance.

Available now, the RIMOWA Chess Attaché Silver (AU$8,455) will be offered at RIMOWA stores worldwide and online, inviting chess connoisseurs to elevate their gaming setup.
