Priced at an ungodly USD$19, 500 (AUD$28,000), you’d have to be a pretty big tosser to game this on the course. However, as gear fanatics, we can’t help but froth this latest sporting offering of unnecessary luxurious goods. Crafted in two different colourways, including bold red and off-white leather and beige brown GG Crystal canvas, the Gucci x adidas club holders are the perfect way to distract attention away from your terrible swing.

Over the past few years, the Italian fashion house has spread its opulent tentacles into the sports world. Recently, we’ve seen Gucci link up the North Face to create a maximalist outerwear collection and even dip its toes into the fitness wearable space with its collaboration with Oura Ring. The brand has also planted its flag in the e-sports space creating its own gaming collection as well as working with the likes of Xbox. Now, they’ve turned their attention to the golfing community.
According to the brand’s website, the nostalgic leather golf bags have been inspired by the house’s 80s and 90s emblematic motifs. Combined with a historic sportswear brand like adidas, the result is a hybrid look of athleisure and luxury. On the practical side, both options come with cotton linen lining to protect your clubs, as well as a front zipper pocket for your keys, tees and stacks of cash we assume the owner has lying around.
Both Adidas x Gucci golf bag designs are made in Italy and are scheduled to be available soon. The red option has a RRP of USD$19,500 (AU$28,000) and is set to hit shelves in early September. Don’t worry, if you’re a little short on cash, the brown bag is set at a more modest USD$13,000 (AU$17,500) and is still waiting for an arrival date.
