KX Pilates Raises Over $84,000 for Lifeline
Last weekend, KX Pilates hosted over 1,000 Aussies at KX studios across the country for its 24-Hour Pilates for Mental Health relay. The classes ran every hour from 7am, Saturday 22 July until 7am, Sunday 23 July at selected KX studios (see below).
The cost to participate was $39, the average cost of a Lifeline call, and thanks to donations from Australians everywhere, KX Pilates raised a whopping $84,869 for the national charity – funding over 2,175 Lifeline calls to provide Aussies with suicide prevention and mental health support.
The whole KX community rallied together, with Reformer Pilates instructors across all studios volunteering their time to run classes at the participating locations, to raise awareness and funds for Lifeline.
If Aussies were unable to make the event, they can still make a contribution to this incredible initiative by donating to 24 Hour Pilates.
