Easter treats

Easter Treats When You’re Stuck at Home

Sometimes Easter is just better celebrated in front of your TV with a few snacks (maybe more than a few) and these treats are the best companion. Chocolate is abundant here, but we’re also throwing in a few alcoholic options.

Messina Chocolate Bunny Cocktail Kits

Cocktail Porter has launched their limited-edition, decadent DIY cocktails that will have you trying to eat your screen in approximately two minutes. If the words “Salted Caramel Easter Egg Cocktail” don’t mean anything to you then you might want to check your pulse.

We’re talking about a Messina Dulce de Leche & coffee cocktail served in a chocolate egg. Completely dominating the status quo of all Easter cocktails that have ever been slung before, this concoction is the perfect combination of Baileys Irish Creme, Mr Black Coffee Liqueur and Minor Figures Mocha Coffee Drip Coffee, shaken and poured into a chocolate egg then topped with pieces of popcorn and drizzled with Messina Dulce de Leche – $145 AUD.

If lockdown taught us one thing it’s that espresso martinis are king when it comes to cocktails and if Easter means drinking your Espresso Martini from a chocolate bunny, sign us up. Pulling-off espresso drinks at home may sound complicated, but Cocktail Porter is here to make sure that an emergency bottle of wine stays in the fridge. A rich blend of premium vodka, cold drip coffee and coffee liqueur are shaken and poured into a Lindt Milk Chocolate Bunny – $145 AUD.
