Ardbeg Anamorphic
Chosen by: Ben McKimm
It’s no secret that Ardbeg loves a limited-edition bottle, but the latest ‘Anamorphic’ release edges out the crowd favourite BizarreBQ in our books. If you love your smoky, coffee-led drams then this is a must-have bottle. The barrel was charred intensely to a specification called ‘high mocha’, before being filled with the spirit and the result is truly 4D. Sweet, smoky, herbal, and spicy, it gives you full chilli chocolate vibes and with an ABV of 48.2% it cranks with a nice long finish. Priced at AU$255 it would make the perfect luxury Christmas gift for a whisky lover.
Globe Trotter Centenary Large Check-In
Chosen by: Elliott Barsby
Getting ready for the holiday season? Look no further than the Globe Trotter Centenary Large Check-In. From the new Globe-Trotter ivory and navy online exclusive collection, this luxe suitcase comes in a range of sizes and is all about functionality. That doesn’t mean compromises are made when it comes to aesthetics, however, each suitcase is decked out with an elegant Ivory Vulcanized Fibreboard body, beautifully complemented by Navy leather detailing and adorned with polished Brass hardware. We love the larger size, so you only need one piece of luggage to look the part.
Logitech G Playseat Trophy
Chosen by: Ben McKimm
All the ultimate gamers out there, this one is for you. The Logitech G Playseat Trophy is all about immersion and customisation – you can change the seat positioning to suit any racing style, and its durable, lightweight, high-carbon steel frame and patented body-conforming Actifit seat technology mean all your focus can remain on the game at hand.
Tiffany & Co Daniel Arsham Poke Ball
Chosen by: Scott Purcell
Now, this one may be a little unexpected, but we’re here for it. Tiffany & Co. have just debuted its latest collaboration with contemporary artist, Daniel Arsham, in partnership with Pokémon for a capsule collection. The collection features nine jewelry designs from pendants to necklaces highlighting six iconic Pokémon – Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Cubon, Mew and of course, Pikachu. The designs are defined by Arsham’s “Future Relics” aesthetic, where he reimagines everyday objects as archaeological discoveries from an imagined future. Seeing the iconic Tiffany blue in Poké Ball packaging is truly something else, we’d even buy the jewellery just for the packaging!
Lucid Gravity SUV
Chosen by: Scott Purcell
Now that Electric SUVs are becoming more and more popular, combining technology, utility and luxury is the natural next step, and Lucid is doing just that with their Gravity SUV. Complete with endless space, long range and fast charging capabilities, we’d almost go as far as to say that this could be the ultimate car when it comes to SUVs. With a sleek exterior and an intuitive interface inside, you can even personalise your drive with optional dynamic lighting controls and even massaging seats!
Zenith Night Surfer II
Chosen by: John Guanzon
The Zenith Night Surfer II is the much-anticipated sequel to the original Zenith Night Surfer, and we couldn’t be more impressed. The new model includes four firsts for the collection, including a new high-beat movement and is sold with an interchangeable bracelet and rubber strap. Some features stay the same, because why change a good thing? Like the micro-blasted titanium bracelet and case. New features include an elevated daily wearer feel from a fit and function perspective, with a gradient-colour dial, luminous bridges of the star motif on the dial and a faceted 12-sided bezel introduced.
Le Labo Rose 31
Chosen by: Ben McKimm
Don’t be fooled gentleman, this is the fragrance (from AU$345) that you or your significant other can wear all summer long. We’ve put this one to the test over the last month and have been impressed by the duality of the scent that develops warm, spicy, and woodsy notes such as cumin, olibanum, cedar, and a touch of amber on your skin. Of course, rose (Centifolia specifically) is at the heart and it’s destined for long lunches and boozy brunches.
Ressence TYPE 1 DX3
Chosen by: Scott Purcell
The final chapter in the collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the Ressence TYPE 1° DX3 is truly something else – a fully lined mosaic dial covered with a thin layer of rose gold – could you get any more boujee? We love the mosaic pattern on the dial featuring an ancient decoration technique called cloisonné, and it also features a 42.7mm round pebble case made from Grade 5 titanium and a modified ETA 2892 automatic movement with version 1.3 of the patented Ressence Orbital Convex System (ROCS) on top. All in all, we think this is the perfect, elegant watch with a refreshingly simple construction that doesn’t detract your attention from the beautiful dial.
King Living 1977 Outdoor
Chosen by: Nick Hall
There’s something about a top-tier sofa that just screams ‘You’ve made it’ and this is certainly true if you’ve got the King Living 1977 Outdoor in your backyard. The sofa reimagines the classic King Living 1977 design but for the outdoors. Defined by an organic, sinuous feel with gentle curves, the sofa is perfect for comfort and its sculptural form means its the perfect way to elevate any outdoor space. Moreover, it is made from a durable weather-resistant, stain-resistant and easy-to-clean finish and is highly functional – its modular design means you can rearrange it, depending on how you’re feeling that day. Perfect for those who love to entertain and can never decide on the ideal set-up.
Swarovski Luna Drop Earrings
Chosen by: Naman Singh
Understated elegance to a tee – the Swarovski Luna Drop Earrings are one of our favourite drops of jewellery to come out this year. With a crescent moon design attached to mini hoops, the earrings are simple yet sophisticated. The rose gold-tone plated design is embellished with a pavé of crystals in dark tones, evoking timelessness and sophistication. The best bit? One earring holds a detachable pearl so they’re perfect for any mood.
Longines Legend Diver
Chosen by: Rob Edwards
True to the original 1959 design, the Longines Legend Diver is immediately recognisable by its two crowns and internal rotating bezel. The main difference of the legendary watch, which has expanded into a whole line of new models, is a 39 mm diameter. Other than that, the collection’s symbol, a diver, is stamped on the watch’s perfectly angled screw-down case back yet it now has a water resistance of up to 30 bar/300 metres, as well as magnetic resistance. Just when you thought an old classic couldn’t get any better, it does.
Maserati GranTurismo
Chosen by: Marcus Hurley
In time to mark 75 years of grand touring, the new GranTurismo is here. While not forgetting the history of the car, the latest version is innovative at its best. With an imposing exterior and aerodynamic features, the car is the very latest in technology. Featuring LED headlights, unprecedented performance and as always, a comfortable drive, even when going super fast, with this car parked in your garage, you will always be the man in charge.
Balsam Hill Vermont White Spruce Tree
Chosen by: John Guanzon
It’s officially time to sort out getting a Christmas tree, and if you’ve had your fun with real Christmas trees and are looking for something a bit more low-maintenance then this is the perfect tree for you. The Vermont White Spruce is state-of-the-art – it seriously looks real, and comes with a variety of sizes, lights, and shapes. This replica of the Picea glauca, known in New England as “White Spruce” or as “Canadian Spruce” is so beautiful, you won’t even need to decorate it! The perfect solution to a lazy man’s Christmas.
Maison De Sabre Tote Bag
Chosen by: Ben McKimm
A killer tote bag is essential, hands down, and this one from Maison De Sabre is the one we’re loving the most this November. Super lightweight, but packed for of compartments for all your bits and bobs, it is all about practicality. It also looks the part – created from full-grain, European leather for a timeless aesthetic, with an interior sealed with a fine resin coating. The perfect everything bag.
Mountain Culture Status Quo Pale Ale
Chosen by: Ben McKimm
All the way from the misty, rugged peaks of the Blue Mountains comes one of the best Plae Ale’s around – the Status Quo Pale Ale. And no, it’s not just us who think so, the beer was even voted Australia’s #1 beer in GABS Hottest 100 of 2022. With a 5.2% ABV, the New England Pale Ale is juicy, hoppy, full flavoured and oh-so tropical. We recommend a trip to the brewery in Katoomba to try more of their epic beers next time you’re up in the Blue Mountains.
