Sennheiser has long been synonymous with top-tier sound quality, and their latest release only solidifies this reputation. Following the immense success of last year’s Momentum 4 Wireless headphones, the company has unleashed the Accentum Wireless Headphones collection, designed to outperform their price tag with superior audio quality, exceptional noise cancellation, extended battery life, and an impressive array of features that make them stand out from the crowd.
While these headphones may not introduce groundbreaking aesthetics, Sennheiser has refined their ergonomics for prolonged comfort. The earcup and headband padding seamlessly adapt to the wearer’s shape, ensuring a secure and natural feel.
The new Accentum wireless headphones come equipped with 37mm dynamic transducers, finely tuned to deliver deep, rich bass and crystal-clear audio clarity. the acoustics have undergone optimization to provide unparalleled Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capabilities. This feat is achieved through a combination of passive isolation and small microphones designed to handle both low and high-frequency noise, effectively targeting disturbances across the entire frequency spectrum.
To ensure exceptional sound quality, Accentum supports the aptX HD codec, delivering sound quality that competes with wired headphones, offering powerful output and reliable wireless stability. Additionally, it includes support for AAC and SBC codecs.
The headphones feature two integrated microphones and a specialized wind-reduction mode, ensuring that taking voice calls is effortless. You can adjust the sound tone for natural conversations and minimal background noise. It also has Multipoint for easy switching between Bluetooth devices without re-pairing.
Controls are friendly and easy to use with a 4-button layout and an optional companion smartphone app called the Smart Control App, which allows you to handle Bluetooth connections, customize the 5-band EQ, save user presets, and receive updates.
During the big reveal, Christian Ern, Sennheiser’s Principal Product Manager, said, “Accentum Wireless was developed to outperform their price tag, sharing much of the most desirable DNA of our award-winning Momentum 4. Consumers are getting breathtaking Sennheiser sound without sacrificing the battery life or wireless freedom that makes it so enjoyable to use all day.”
